Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
Mercury rules contracts, but when Mercury is retrograde, this planet will withhold his greatest powers of communication. Some important clauses may be unclear, or the contract may not address certain areas, and those missing clauses might become problematic later. It is a rule when Mercury is retrograde that any contract you sign now would have to be renegotiated later, which is often a tricky proposition. If you hire an important executive, that person may turn out to have talents in an area you don’t need but lack expertise in the very area you need covered. You may be forced to hire another manager to supplement the expertise that you originally assumed the executive you hired could provide. Yikes.
Do not buy electronic items or machines in July, for Mercury rules the spark in electronics and the moving parts in machines. That means you would be wise to wait until August to go shopping for the computer, a smart phone, automobile, or kitchen appliance, as some examples.
My favorite days for you to shop next month for a machine or anything electronic will be August 21, 26, and 29, for if you do, you will love the product you choose.
I might as well tell you about a day when, if you work in the media, you could make mistakes in a manuscript or broadcasting segment—July 11. On that day, everyone will notice tension in the air, for unpredictable Uranus will stand toe-to-toe with warrior Mars, a hot aspect that could create a meltdown. If you must criticize someone, use a caring, gentle touch.
Another day to avoid scheduling an important interview, presentation, or even a first date will be July 29, when Uranus will be at odds with the Sun. You may suddenly be criticized for something you wrote or have problems with a troll on social media. This is not a day to schedule an interview. Choose a better day.
Now let’s turn to the full moon lunar eclipse due on July 16 in Capricorn, 24 degrees, to light your eleventh house of friendship. This eclipse is tied to the one that occurred January 5 in Capricorn, a new moon, and it might bring the discussion you had then to a new, advanced level. Saturn, the taskmaster planet that gives a weighty, heavy tone was prominent then and will be now, again.
