MAY 2025

Dear Reader,

In all the years I have been studying astrology, I have never seen so many major outer planets change signs within one year. That is what is underway now.

Before I list the planets that are on the move, I want to add that April’s manuscript ran 40,000 words divided by 12 signs.

Your May 2025 Horoscope for Pisces

by Susan Miller

This will be a very important month, for it will mark a big change between past months and future ones. The energy of 2025 will shift, and the heaviness and slowness of progress will finally draw to an end. The demarcation line will be set up by a truly gorgeous new moon in Gemini on May 26. Before getting to this point in the month, you will need to deal with the cranky new moon that happened last month April 27 that might influence you in early to mid-May.

Let me break down all the activities of May, which really begin with the new moon of April 27.

If you work in the communications industry as a writer, editor, fact checker, researcher, publisher, or computer code developer, or you’re in sales, public relations, marketing, game development, or other related jobs in the industry, the new moon April 27 might have brought you more work.

To give you some background, last month on April 17 Mars entered Leo and your work-a-day sixth house to stay until June 17. At home and at the office, your to-do list grew. Taking time off was likely out of the question. You also did not seem to be in the mood to spend money, as a trip can make expenses mount. Mars in the sixth house makes you work very hard. Mars had been in Leo from November 4 through January 3, retrograded into Cancer, and then reentered Leo on April 17, so there has not been much time to catch your breath. But after June 17 life should calm down.

Here is the complication. The ongoing feud between Mars and Pluto was mixed into the same cake batter as the aspects of the April 27 new moon. Mars and Pluto have been in a long-time dispute since early November, coming together then backing off but not enough to cool the temperature of the atmosphere. Being a sensitive Pisces, you sensed tension in the zeitgeist. Mars and Pluto locked horns again on January 3, and backed off but, as before, not far enough to ease the tension. Mars and Pluto continued their quarrel for the last time on April 26, hours before the new moon was to appear.
