Monthly News from Susan Miller

MARCH 2023

Dear Reader,

March will be a major turning point of the year for three major planets will change signs. Mars will move to Cancer (after seven months in Gemini), Saturn will move to Pisces (after spending nearly three years in Aquarius), and Pluto will briefly move to Aquarius (after 15 years in Capricorn) to return more permanently to Aquarius in 2024 and stay for 20 years. In May, Jupiter will change signs too (after being a year in Aries). There is plenty of planetary traffic in the heavens!

If you only read one of my forecasts this year, please read this one. It’s all good news—life that seemed to bring all the same old situations without any change will now bring new conditions and a chance to dissolve former problems. Opportunities will sprout up in places where there were none for much too long. Indeed, the changes the planets will bring will be outstandingly welcome. In your forecast, I will show you how the move of each planet to a new sign will affect you. Always be sure to read for your Sun sign and rising sign (if you know it) for the most complete report. There are so many beautiful aspects that will shine like diamonds in this lovely month of March.

March could represent a seminal moment for you when conditions you wrangled with are starting to reach a solution or end point. This month changes everything, for three major planets will change signs and influence different parts of your life. Pluto, Saturn, and Mars will all be on the move, and by May, Jupiter will move, too. When big planets start to move, that’s major news.

Let’s start with action planet Mars, which, on August 20, moved into Gemini and is still there. Mars usually only stays six or seven weeks in a sign, not seven months as he is currently, so the part of your chart that is being lit up took a lot of your concentration over the past months. Mars has been traveling in your home and family sector (fourth house), and because Mars rules your financial sector, you were spending your money either on your home, other property you might want to own, rent, buy, or sell, or directed money to a beloved family member who needs financial support. Mars is on the move now and will end its seven-month tour of Gemini near month’s end.

On March 25, Mars will enter a divine placement for you—Cancer, a fellow water sign, lighting your fifth house of true love from March 25 to May 20, approximately two months, which is a more normal orbit for Mars. Your fifth house is the area of fun, romance, the spark of new love, children, and creative projects, which are always important to you, artistic, imaginative Pisces. You will be spending on a possible vacation, on the children in your life, and possibly on a creative project. If you are in love, you may be buying little gifts for your sweetheart or spouse. Mars in Cancer is a much better place for Mars to be for you, so life will become brighter, with little touches of luxury and pampering.

Saturn is moving too—into Pisces, where Saturn has not been since 1993 to 1996. You only get two or three visits of Saturn (which last the better part of three years) in your lifetime. Think of Saturn as your executive coach who will teach you how to bring out the strengths within you. Saturn does this by giving you a series of challenges to help you strengthen your independence, good judgment, and maturity. Saturn teaches that the things we are proudest of in life are the goals we set and worked hard to achieve—and accomplished. What you gain with Saturn you get to keep. Forever.

Saturn will ask you to choose a goal soon, and you will work on it until Saturn leaves in February 2026. The choices you make will change the way people around you view you—you may marry, have a baby, buy a house, move cross country (or overseas), or start a business. You might take a big position at a company that only a few years ago you assumed was beyond your ability to handle—now you can. You might write a book or go back to college or commit to graduate school. These are a few examples, but the point is, you will enter into a new realm, learn the ropes in an unfamiliar area, and take on new responsibility. You will feel pressure, but you are ready for this step-up into a new frontier.

You will have an experienced person near who will help you learn the ropes in this new realm. This person will stick with you during the entire period Saturn remains in Pisces. You might feel after two years that you’re good, handling the new role you chose, but that experienced person will stay with you anyway. This person might be critical from time to time, but they’ll have your best interests at heart.

Now we’ll look at the two lunations this month.

Of all the signs, you are the most likely to make really good money in the next two months. You are golden, dear Pisces.

Let’s first look at the full moon on March 7 in Virgo, 17 degrees, which will bring a partnership matter to fullness and a conclusion. If you have been working on joining forces with another person, the deal will be crystalized at this time. Things will go exceptionally well—Uranus will be in your communication sector sending sparkly beams to the Sun and moon, which suggests there is a big unexpected, happy surprise associated with this full moon. I love surprises. They are the sugar and spice of life when they are friendly, and this one surely is!

Although Neptune is in wide opposition to this full moon, which does not worry me, if you are sealing a deal or signing papers, ask a lot of questions. Some part of the deal may be unclear. This is no time to save money by skipping a lawyer’s services, not with Neptune in the vicinity (even though it is a little far from being tightly opposed to the moon). Be smart and have your lawyer look things over first. Even so, I love this full moon, for I feel some very exciting things could come up by joining forces with another.

The next topic that will become a huge theme this month has to do with money—money you will earn (not win or be given), and it will soon come to you in buckets. I see a Brinks truck parked in front of your house with little men driving wheelbarrows of money into your house. I have been writing about how 2023 should be fantastic for your finances, and very soon you will see what I am talking about.

Your first clue may come on March 1 and 2, when Venus will have her annual meeting with Jupiter. They always meet in a different sign and house, and this year they are meeting in Aries, your house of earned income. This is a wonderful sign that money is on the way. Use these days to have a job interview, to ask for a raise, to apply for a job, or to pitch a new client. If you are self-employed, you may get a new project, and it certainly will be fun to work on, for the subject matter will be new and innovative, teaching you about a new area you may not have worked on before. It should pay well, too. I wrote about these days—which will be influential for several days before and after—last month in my February forecast, so maybe you already made plans.

Next, the new moon of March 21 in Aries, 1 degree, will be lighting your second house of earned income. (To be clear the, the money you will see has nothing to do with gambling or winning sweepstakes—you will work for it, and be well paid, too.) This new moon falls directly after the vernal equinox, which is significant. It makes this new moon VERY strong and powerful. Adding to its strength is the fact that financial powerhouse Pluto will be very friendly to this new moon and support it every inch of the way.

Astrologers know that any planet or lunation falling in a cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) at 0 or 1 degree, like this one, is symbolic of the power of the life force, of all things new and innovative—the pathfinder, the pioneer, the mover, the shaker. I feel something is about to bubble up in terms of an offer, and when it does, you would be wise to investigate it—it could be really good. You’ll have to see. This new moon will affect you for months, so your outlook for making money has never been better. Best of all, you will enjoy working on this new project because it will teach you something new and take you into an emerging field that is so new, few people have any expertise in it.

Here is another reason I am excited about this new moon. Next month on April 19 you will have a second new moon in a row falling in this same part of your chart—the area of earned income. It will fall in Aries at 29 degrees, and it will be a new moon solar eclipse! Wow. It will be the friendliest new moon of the year, for Jupiter will be tightly conjunct that new moon. This tells me the financial part of your chart is certainly going to be a hub of activity, and you will certainly be happy when reading your bank statement by the time this is all said and done.

Jupiter will leave your financial second house on May 16 and not return for 12 years. Of course, you will always be able to make more money, but right now it will be easier for you to find the right opportunities. You are subject to a slew of lucky breaks—let Jupiter help you. At the very least, after March 21 ask for a raise if you feel you deserve one.

Do all you can to keep an eye out for moneymaking opportunities. The offers will come to you, for sure, but the way astrology works best is for you to help things along by also making inquiries about other opportunities. Do publicity or a media campaign, or start an advertising push. Introduce a new product or service now for your company. Of all the signs, you are the most likely to make really good money in the next two months. You are golden, dear Pisces.

In case you think that’s all that could possibly happen in March, there’s more!

Pluto will move temporarily into Aquarius from March 23 to June 11, which will serve as a preview to what will become a major theme starting next year and continuing for 20 years beyond that, from January 2024 to January 2044. Pluto will make you so highly intuitive that friends might say you are downright psychic. Pisces always enjoys peaceful alone time, and now with Pluto entering your solar twelfth house of privacy, you will need to be sure you have regular time away from the cacophony of voices so that you can think and reflect on life events. It could be a time of enormous creativity and expression of your rich imagination.

A new, more mature side of you is rapidly emerging this month when Saturn will make a major move into Pisces on March 7. Some astrologers call Saturn a drill sergeant, but you will learn from Saturn life’s truths in a way you have never learned from anyone before. Think of Saturn as a high-priced coach that you hired to bring out the very best in you—a new and improved version of yourself by bringing out strengths you may have not realized were within you. You will need to work hard to shape your innate talents and abilities, and then be ready to show them to the world. Saturn will remain in Pisces until February 2026.

You won’t feel the direct rays of Saturn the entire time, only when Saturn orbits overhead (in other words, when Saturn is within range of the degree of your Sun). Pisces with a birthday from February 19 to February 26 will feel this energy first, and once we get to 2024, you will be finished with the hardest part of the trend. Saturn will officially leave Pisces on February 13, 2026, after a period of just under three years.

You will be asked to build a foundation for your life and to be realistic and practical. You will feel the passage of time, with an urgency to use your time very productively. You had experienced this trend (if you are old enough) the last time Saturn came by in Pisces, from May 1993 to April 1996. Saturn is all about accomplishment, so if you can recall that period and see what you set into place during that time, you will get a hint of what is to come. As said, you would not strongly feel Saturn’s presence the entire three years he tours Pisces, but rather for approximately nine months when Saturn hovers over the degrees of your birthday Sun (plus or minus five degrees). During a Saturn visit, you will require more sleep, so be sure to get it, and also eat nutritiously.

You have been putting a great deal of energy into home and family and contributing quite a bit of money too, ever since Mars entered Gemini on August 20. Gemini is not the easiest sign for Mars to travel in for a Pisces, so you may have felt pressure or were concerned about the money you were spending.

You may have moved house or made major renovations or repairs to your present home. You may have given your home décor a beautiful refresh or decided this was the year to hire a landscape artist to plant flowers, trees, and shrubs to make the land surrounding your home beautiful. Alternatively, you may have been concerned about the welfare of your mother, father, your children, a sister, grown daughter or son, or other person in your family and have contributed time and financial support to help your beloved relative. This strong focus will all change somewhat—Mars is leaving this area of your chart on March 25.

When Mars moves into Cancer—a fellow water sign like yours—from March 25 to May 20, you will enter into a highly romantic, fun time. Pressure will be off, and more fun will be in store. You are a highly artistic sign, so you also will be entering into a highly expressive, imaginative period. Enjoyment with children (yours or those of others) is indicated, too.

The glorious news is that you are likely to see a large increase in your income. Something exciting is cooking behind the scenes when it comes to your earned income, which will elevate your compensation at a surprisingly generous rate. You may see this to be true when Venus and Jupiter align in Aries in your financial house over March 1 and 2 (and extending into the weekend).

Later, on the new moon in Aries on March 21, will be an even bigger indication that more money is on the way to you. This is not money you would win but rather earn, and it will be generous and bring you rapidly into a new and innovative realm. Action planet Mars will support this new moon and Sun, so you won’t have to wait long to see results of this generous new moon. Next month you will have a second new moon also falling in Aries, this same financial part of your chart—it will be an outstandingly friendly solar eclipse! One way or another you will be seeing more money flow into your bank account. You will have until May 16 (when Jupiter leaves Aries) to easily see your uptick in income. Start looking for it!

Love comes too, dear Pisces, from March 25 to May 20 when Mars moves to Cancer, your truelove sector. Be sure to be ready to step out—it will be a glorious, glamourous, fun time for you.
