That was an extraordinary new moon because Jupiter was sandwiched tightly to the Sun and new moon, within one tiny degree (out of a possible 360 degrees). This allowed Jupiter to bring you outstanding luck and good fortune in matters of romantic love, creativity, and children, and also to bring profitability to an upcoming work project that will be on your agenda soon.
In ancient days, Jupiter was your ruling planet (before Neptune was discovered), so modern astrologers look at both Jupiter and Neptune to decide your current influences. Jupiter, so well positioned last month at the June 25 new moon, is given more weight and favor to you, dear Pisces, because of its rulership of your sign.
You had four heavenly bodies in Cancer, a water sign like your Pisces birthday Sun, at that new moon. The way new moons work is that they are influential for nearly six months, but are especially strong just after they appear. However, there was a flaw in that new moon—Saturn and Neptune, the latter being your ruler, were both traveling together and in hard angle to the new moon in your fifth house. You wanted to feel carefree, but Saturn, creating tightness on your finances, was an ongoing concern, like background music, to all you wanted to do. As one Pisces told me, “I stay home. The minute I leave the house, I start spending money. I am in hunker-down mode.”
