Your January 2025 Horoscope for Pisces
by Susan MillerWe are not done with the retrogrades. Soon after Mars goes direct, Venus will turn retrograde, from March 1 to April 12, and will not be fully functional until May 16. At the same time Mercury will go retrograde again too, March 14 to April 7, so the two will overlap. When Venus is retrograde, don’t make big changes to your appearance—no expensive Botox, fillers, facial work, dental cosmetic work, or a radical new change to the way you wear your hair. (Trims are fine, but no big changes like a radical new hair color or cut. This goes for men, too—don’t grow or cut off a beard or change your hair color.) Venus rules your face, and you want Venus to be strong when you make these improvements.
This picture is giving the New Year a slow start. Retrograde planets have a function—they ask us to look back and think about which relationships and projects are working well and which ones need attention. While you think about this, rank your items according to your greatest priority.
Anyway, back to this month. When Mars leaves Leo and your solar sixth house on January 6, you will feel the work pressure come off. Mars will move backward into Cancer and your lovely fifth house of romance, fun, and joy. You may see an old flame or change your mind about a current sweetheart.
