A Note from Susan Miller
November is a very big month, and I wanted you to have all the information you need to take full advantage of the changing aspects. I went back to October to put your life in context and to show you specifically how different—and better—November would be for you.
November starts off tense (depending on your sign and exact birthday), but it gets special by the gorgeous new moon of November 14. Also, Mercury and his big brother Mars will both go direct after endless weeks of being in retrograde, so you will see the pace of life pick up in a way that you will find gratifying. There will be opportunities to take advantage of at long last, and you will have two weeks to get ready. On top of all of this, the eclipses are back—these are gentle and sweet and will push you forward into a new realm. The first one is due November 30 in Gemini, and the second one, a dazzler, is due next month, December 14, in Sagittarius as a new moon solar eclipse.
Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
As you enter November, the full moon of October 31 in Taurus at 9 degrees just appeared and may have rattled you about a financial matter. If you have not heard news yet, you still may by November 4, or sooner.
The full moon was tightly conjunct Uranus, the planet of unpredictable events, within your eighth house of other people’s money. Uranus can be disruptive, volatile, impulsive, and erratic. Still, with Uranus you never know what might come, for it is never what you are looking at as a possibility. I should also allow for the chance that this full moon might bring you good news, but I feel you don’t have to plan for good news. You do need to plan for tough news, though. This emotional full moon with Uranus tightly conjunct the moon and opposed to the Sun is able to knock you sideways, for it will activate both of your solar chart’s financial houses.
You might incur a large, unanticipated expense or need to pay more taxes if your accountant made a mistake on your last return. Things like that are possible, but it is just as possible, instead, that someone could put unauthorized charges on your credit card or that you may find a mistake on your credit report.
If you are self-employed, you may be upset to hear one of your clients will file for bankruptcy and won’t be able to pay you what he owes. Or it could be that your insurance company is refusing to pay the sum you had anticipated. This happens in life. I hope you will be surprised in a good way and find out you won money on a TV game show. With Uranus, you can never tell which way things will go, so I will admit, things could pleasantly surprise you.
The eighth house, where all the action will happen due to the full moon, has one other possibility that I should note. It is also the house of surgery, so you might suddenly need to take care of a dental or medical problem. Full moons move events along very quickly, which is good—if you need the help of a doctor or dentist, before you can think about it, it’s over and done, and you can go back to your life.
I am not saying all these things could occur, just one. Because this month is so loaded with unanticipated events, I am listing them so that you can be ready for anything.
You will be happy to hear that Mercury, the planet of communication and commerce (including buying, selling, negotiating, and shipping) which has been retrograde since October 13, will go direct on November 3. Very soon, you can start to shop for electronics and machines, which are also ruled by Mercury. You will be able to start to sign contracts, too. Don’t be in too much of a rush, however, because it’s never wise to act too close to the start and end dates of Mercury retrograde, for Mercury is at his worst at those times.
I can tell by your chart that you’ve been very interested in improving the look of your home, and you may have even moved (even during a pandemic).
At the time of the November 30 eclipse, Mercury will be in Scorpio, your second house of income, possessions, savings, and earnings, so money should come in, and of course, this would be good news for so many reasons.
You have been dealing a long time with Mars in your seventh house of partners, an energetic but at times a strong, assertive energy. The pandemic has sent everyone home, but for you, dear Libra, you may be experiencing a bit too much togetherness. You seem very focused on your partner, and he or she may be making headline news in both your lives, perhaps because your partner is starting a new position or new business, or because the two of you are getting married or buying property together as a few examples.
Libra will do anything to create harmony and peace in a relationship—this is a lovely trait of yours, but this can sometimes make you want to give a bit too much. This could be a little of how you’ve been feeling lately
If you feel you and your spouse or steady love have not been getting along lately because you have had more frequent disagreements, you can blame Mars. This warrior planet usually spends six weeks in a sign that he visits, but he has been in your partnership sector (or house) since the end of June and has settled in for six months. That’s a very long time for so much energy and focus—Mars will leave January 6, 2021, and when he departs, he will not be back for two years.
I have good news for you on three counts. As said, Mars has been in Aries (the sign in opposition to your Sun) since the end of June, but on September 9 went retrograde, leaving Mars weak and ineffective. The first positive change is that Mars will bolt direct this month on November 13. As said, Mars will remain in Aries, your partnership house, until January 6, 2021. The change of Mars from retrograde to direct will help you and your partner see more progress together.
I should add that any of your serious partnerships will benefit. When I speak about your spouse, I could have instead been referring to a close collaborative business partner in your life, and the outlook would be the same—things will improve.
Secondly, with Mars’ little brother Mercury going direct too (on November 3), your communication with your partner will improve and be become lighter, clearer, and easier. The chance for misunderstandings or misinterpretations will lessen. If either of you has been indecisive, you each will start to become more confident about the direction you want to go. You will start to see better relations take hold by the end of November.
The third point is that Venus, your ruler, will be in Libra to stay until November 21. Venus will make your innate charm and charisma more visible. Who could say no to you, dear Libra? Your relationship with your spouse or steady sweetheart could become closer, sweeter, and more passionate.
Now let’s talk about money, for the new moon due November 14 in Scorpio at 23 degrees could help you. If money has become a touchy subject between you and your partner, this new moon might melt that sore subject by helping you find a new source of income. If you have your own business, look for and pitch new clients in the days that follow November 14. If you work for others, this could be the right time to gently ask for a raise.
Neptune will be in ideal angle to the new moon and Sun on November 14, and Neptune will beam silvery rays from your work-a-day assignment sector (sixth house) and link to your income sector (second house). If you work in the creative arts, you will be especially well positioned to increase your income, for Neptune is the patron planet of the arts.
I also love that Pluto, the ruler of your income sector, will be orbiting with Jupiter—you may end the month with much more income than when you started.
Gather up the courage to ask for your raise or pitch a new client in the days that follow November 14. You only get one new moon a year in this area, so you need to take advantage of it. Keep in mind that a new moon sets the tone for six months to a year, but is strongest in the days that follow it. Use it!
Let’s go back to your plans for home. It appears any extra money you make may go toward saving for a new condo or house or for ways to refresh your décor.
The month is packed with activity, and can you believe it? November includes a full moon lunar eclipse November 30 in Gemini, 9 degrees, and this one should benefit you.
Something related to your ninth house is about to come to culmination. That area of your chart covers distant travel or work you might do with people based in a foreign country with no need to leave home. Immigration and matters of a passport/visa/green card are also covered by your ninth house, so if you have applied for citizenship or a grant to do research in a foreign country, your interview might come through now, or you may get the final good news. This November 30 eclipse is a favorable one for you.
The ninth house is an intellectual house that rules all the information you take in and the sharing of your information to others. Subsequently, the ninth house covers study for a university degree or work as a professor or instructor at a higher learning institution. Legal matters are covered by this house, concerning not only legal disputes and the court systems, but also positive legal actions such as filing for a patent, trademark, or copyright protection.
This area of the chart also rules the media—publishing, broadcasting, and the digital world—so whether you are writing a book, designing a new app, or shaping a TV show, that’s a ninth house activity. By working in media, you disburse the information you know or have researched thoroughly. Look over this list—if you are waiting for a conclusion or final resolve to a topic related to these topics, you are likely to get it.
There is another way this could work out. Instead of being the creator of the media form as writer, producer, or engineer, you might be the subject of the story in the press through publicity. Your work on that media project is now done and may now be shown to the public.
Finally, it is alternatively possible that one of your in-laws (most likely the person would be a mother-in-law or sister-in-law, as a lunar eclipse is feminine, not masculine) or an aunt might need your help. Keep tuned into family matters, as the eclipse may bring news.
Only one of the areas I have listed will likely come up for you as important on or very near November 30. This eclipse will be in Gemini, a sign that blends beautifully with your Libra Sun.
If your birthday falls on October 1, plus or minus five days, this eclipse will be very supportive of your goals. The same is true if you have Libra rising at 9 degrees or the natal moon in Libra at the same degree, again plus or minus five degrees. Take a look at your natal horoscope—do you have a natal planet from 4 to 14 degrees in Libra, Gemini, or Aquarius? If you do, then you are likely to see some sort of breakthrough, and if one of your planets is lit up, that planet will drive events.
It makes me happy to see that at the eclipse of November 30 Mercury will be in the spotlight, and—here is the good part—happily, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto will all be friendly to Mercury and supply lots of good energy, helping you financially. At the time of the eclipse, Mercury will be in Scorpio, your second house of income, possessions, savings, and earnings, so money should come in, and of course, this would be good news for so many reasons.
This month, the universe will be working a little bit at cross purposes, however, for unpredictable Uranus will directly oppose Venus, your ruler, at month’s end, linking your two financial sectors together. Venus is your ruler and is also the planet that runs your eighth house of credit and other people’s money. The bottom line is that while money will come in, money will go out, too. Even so, I feel it’s more important that Mercury will be so friendly to the compatible group of planets in Capricorn (Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto). I feel that financially you are likely to land sunny-side up, even if you get more than one unexpected expense. I feel you will end up with money to save if you like.
Keep strong all month, dear Libra. I see a ferocious spike in the coronavirus worldwide due to the meeting of Jupiter and Pluto on November 12. These two planets were to meet three times in 2020—April 4, June 29, and November 12. We all recall how terrible the months March, April, July, and last month, October, were for so many nations. We can always feel the building energy of two such powerful planets as they move to align. All the spikes of the coronavirus months correspond to the conjunctions of Jupiter and Pluto.
This is no time to take risks and, I feel, no time to travel. The eclipse of November 30 will make you want to pack and go, but think twice. If you must travel, make sure you are not heading into a hotspot. Most countries and states have requirements to quarantine, which you will need to factor into your time away and also when you get back home.
After Jupiter and Pluto meet this month, they will tip their hats to one another and say goodbye, not to meet again in conjunction for 13 years, not until February 2033. If you are curious, during the Spanish flu of 1918, Jupiter and Pluto were in tight conjunction just as they are in 2020. People then did the same thing we do—social distance, wash hands, and wear masks. See the old fashioned black and white and sepia toned news photos online. You may assume you have nothing in common with people alive in 1918, but you will see, they were so much like us.
You may hear an important announcement of a possible treatment or a vaccine, and this news may surface during the last week of December but more likely by January 12, 2021, yet it will take time for the drug companies to have it distributed. I hear the medicines currently being tested in all the firms have to stay cold in the doctor’s offices and drug stores, so that is one stumbling blocks that would have to be worked out due to the quantities involved.
Be sure to wear your mask in November with such a strong spike coming. Doctors wear masks when they do surgery to protect you. According to many experts, masks are still your best protection. Some scientists say a mask can protect you far more reliably than any vaccine, which might only be 50% effective. In the meantime, pare down your holiday celebrations—you are close to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Realistically, we will be wearing masks for a long time during 2021.
Moving to a happy topic, before I go, I want to remind you that Venus will move in Libra until November 21, making it the perfect time to choose something new to wear for all those Zoom calls, and for women to add makeup for the coming holiday season. Male or female, Venus will enhance your appeal, and others will be drawn to you personally and professionally. Indeed, with Venus in Libra, you could charm the birds from the trees this month. Be confident.
The full moon of the previous month, October 31, will set the tone of the first days of November. News could seem to catch you off balance concerning finances. News seems to surprise or even shock you, and you’ll need to sit down and think before responding. The house that this difficult full moon fell concerns other people’s money—money you share with your spouse or business partner, or money you receive as a divorce or court settlement or from an insurance company or bank. Funds could also be money you owe for a mortgage, taxes, credit cards, or student loan, or money you receive as a bonus, commission, royalty, severance, and the like.
Financial shifts seems to be tied to sudden changes going on in your career or in regard to your marriage or business partner’s life. These first days of November would not be the time to make a final settlement or agreement of any sort as you will likely be taken aback by actions of the other side.
Financial news in the first days of November might catch you off balance, for it may surprise or even shock you. Before responding, you may want to think about the best way to handle what comes up. If news is outstandingly positive (and it could be), you may not want to tell too many people because so many others are suffering financially as a result of the pandemic, and it may be too painful for them to be happy for you.
These first days of November would not be the time to make a final settlement or agreement of any sort. Mercury will turn direct on November 3, which is good news, but you would be wise to leave a space of days before you start signing important papers. In fact, this month will have several up and down moments, so it might be best to wait until December (if possible) to give your final answer—December will be a good month on many levels.
If the full moon at the start of November makes you jittery about money, the new moon of November 14 will calm you by bringing you opportunities to find ways to earn more money. It will bring news of a job you would like, such as a side job you can do on weekends or, if self-employed, uncover a chance to bring in a lucrative new client. You will need to do your part by seeking out opportunity, but if you search and promote your business and your talents, the new moon of November 14 and the days that follow will help you find those opportunities.
Start to search for a pipeline of cash by telling friends, family, and former co-workers that you are open to investigating a new position, side jobs, or if self-employed, new clients. Start to advertise your business or do other self-promotion at the end of November or December.
In your private life, if you have been looking for a new place to live, this new moon will also be in a position to help you find a beautiful, sunny, spacious new apartment or house that may cost a little more than you had hoped, but the value would be considerable, so you might want to take it. If you need help for the down payment or deposit to secure this home, it looks like a family member may help you by giving you some cash so you can move forward. If you would rather decorate or make repairs, that, too, would be possible.
A full moon lunar eclipse will occur November 30 in Gemini, 9 degrees, that will bring a conclusion to one of several areas that are ruled by the ninth house: the media—a publishing or broadcasting project, or one centered in the digital world—or a matter involving academia, a business relationship with someone overseas, or one involved with the courts or a legal matter.
Distant travel might beckon because this eclipse could make you want to travel, but be careful as big COVID surges are due in November and won’t calm down until late December.
On a lunar full moon eclipse, something ends and something else begins, so November 30 will be an important moment and might be linked to discussions or actions you took at the previous eclipse in this series, June 5. Events that happen on eclipses are important and worth noting, for they point to your future path.
Most of the month, Venus in Libra (which started October 27 and continues to November 21) is the right time to choose new clothes and makeup for the coming holiday season. Your charms will be very visible, and others will be drawn to you in love and business. You could charm the birds from the trees this month, just by smiling.
