Libra Horoscope for June 2021

News from Susan Miller

JUNE 2021

Dear Reader,

Just when I thought I could not cry any more than I already had, more tears came. I want to thank you for your kind messages of condolences that you sent me on social media concerning the passing of my beloved former husband, Don H Miller. Don and I had remained close throughout time—I met Don when I was 23 and married him when I was 25. Many of you saw our wedding photograph and other photographs that I posted on Instagram and Twitter @astrologyzone (I use the same name on both platforms). They are on Facebook, too. There are different photos of Don Miller with our daughters, Chrissie and Diana. Most show them when they were little, on their own Instagram accounts @Chrissie Miller and @DianaLMiller (Diana has a middle initial “L”).

Don had formed a strong fatherly bond with both Chrissie and Diana, and they adored their father. We all have been in mourning ever since Don passed away in May .We had a touching memorial service for Don on May 24. We all loved his gentle, kind, and loving ways, his sense of humor, and strong, curious intellect. I still cannot believe he is gone.

Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

You’ve had a lot of activity going on in your life lately, and at times, it may have felt exhausting. Still, you are doing well, most likely better than you think. If you had experienced a career disappointment, it may have been because the timing was off.

Mars has been lighting your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement since April 23, making you more determined than ever either to find a new position that paid better or to add an extra assignment to juggle into your schedule. If you are self-employed, you have been determined to add new lucrative clients. Mars gave you the motivation, and while you didn’t have the aspects you needed to trigger an offer, you have been laying the groundwork for one, if not two, offers for July. Your chart shows you are still working on your résumé and presentation, and soon all your refinements will bear fruit.

To make matters a little complicated, Mercury began to retrograde on May 29, to go direct June 22. Two weeks prior to May 29, you began feeling the slowdowns, delays, and miscommunications that Mercury retrograde brings. Everybody of every sign feels Mercury retrograde uniformly. This means June would not be the ideal time to take a new job, not unless you are going back to a former employer or company where you used to work—in those cases, you have already started a successful relationship months or years ago, so you can proceed.

As you see, you don’t have to stop working on your job search or stop interviewing, just do it a little more gradually, and work smartly by focusing on past connections and reviving them.

You have Venus moving through your tenth house of prestigious advancement practically all month, from June 2 to June 26. You certainly will be popular with VIPs and subordinates alike, and your good judgment and fine work ethic and ability to bring people together in harmony is being prized.

On June 3 and 4, you can meet with a VIP very successfully and make a positive, lasting impression. Venus, your ruler, is now in Cancer, your professional tenth house of fame and honors, while Jupiter, in Pisces, your work-a-day assignment sector (sixth house), will beam Venus with a cascade of sparkling vibrations. On these days, you can hit a home run—perfect days to have an interview, give a presentation, send a proposal, or launch a new product.

There is another day to circle on your calendar—June 21, when Venus in Cancer will be sent dazzling creative vibrations from Neptune, planet of imagination. If you are paid for your ideas, this day is the one for you to make a presentation or to meet with your client to go over your suggestions for a new project. On this day, those you see will want you in their corner for clearly, your vision is broad, and your ideas quite original.

You have enormous opportunity to advance your career, for you have had Mars acting like an “advance man” to turn on the brilliant lights in your reputation sector, alerting others to your career accomplishments. By the new moon on July 9, the offers should start coming to you.

I mentioned that Mars has been fueling your desire either to be awarded a promotion or to find a new job that pays well and can give you more responsibility. If you are in sales or are self-employed, then you are eager to generate new business. Mars helped you present your qualifications in a passionate and determined way. Mars will only stay in your career house through June 10, so if there is still someone you need to see, you must set that appointment quickly.

Still, you may need more cosmic support if you can’t quite capture the job you want. That’s okay—you are about to get it.

To get an important new position, one on a higher level than the one you had, you would also need a powerful new moon to appear in your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. You only get one of those new moons a year, but remarkably, you will get precisely the right new moon next month on July 9.

Watch the days that follow July 9 and be prepared to present you accomplishments to VIPs in the days and weeks that immediately follow that new moon.

At the July 9 new moon next month, you will not be dealing with Mercury retrograde anymore, for Mercury will go direct this month on June 22.

Admittedly, on the new moon next month, July 9, Saturn will oppose both Venus and Mars, but I think that aspect would only reflect your concern about keeping things humming along at home, having your children and others who depend on you well cared for. Before (and if) you take on a new position in July, you will have time now to think about those at home and find solutions you can put in place once you accept the new position. These concerns won’t be anything beyond your ability to solve.

Now let’s talk about the eclipses that are ongoing.

You came through the first one May 26 in Sagittarius, 5 degrees. It lit your third house of communication, a house that also governs contracts, agreements, and important papers. You may have been plunged into doing a lot of paperwork in May as a result of sudden news the eclipse brought up. Your sisters and brothers, as well as cousins, are ruled by your solar third house, so you may have had more interaction than usual with one of these relatives.

How any eclipse will affect you also depends on whether that eclipse touches a natal planet or your Sun or moon in your birth chart. It also matters how the other transiting planets, such as Saturn, Uranus, Mars, or Pluto, were speaking to one or more of your natal planets at the same time, and whether transiting planets were in friendly or difficult positions.

By now you know how that May 26 full moon eclipse in late last month affected you.

The hard part about even good eclipses is that they are always on a mission to create rapid changes and strike suddenly. The last eclipse in May was a full moon, so if that one touched the degrees in your natal chart, the response in you was likely quite emotional. Lunar eclipses are always full moons, and they mark a finish, culmination, or end. Lunar eclipses make us emotional, sometimes in a happy way, but sometimes they make us or sentimental when the news make us sharply aware of the passage of time.

Now here comes the second eclipse, as eclipses always come in pairs. The coming eclipse is a new moon solar eclipse, so it will mark a start of something new. It will not be emotional—instead it will set you in motion.

Due June 10, this solar eclipse will be in Gemini, an air sign like your Libra Sun. This is a happy coincidence, for you will absorb what happens more easily and naturally than most other signs. Your ninth house of distant travel will be lit up, so you may get a chance to travel, and if so, do so joyfully, but also with care. The pandemic has been hard on Libra, for you love to be with friends—they give you oxygen and energy. Some signs, like Scorpio, need time alone, and when a Scorpio does socialize, they tend to do so one friend at a time. Libra would rather see several friends at once. This eclipse may give you a chance to pack and go and to reconnect with your world. You will be excited by that possibility.

Saturn will be beautifully oriented to the Sun, new moon solar eclipse, and Mercury, the travel planet. Saturn is in your fifth house of fun, love, leisure, sports, and children, so at long last, you have something truly great to look forward to doing. You can travel by car, bus, rail, or plane—it will be your choice. If you have children, you will want to bring them with you and design outings near your destination for bushels of laughter.

Other possible opportunities will flow from that new moon solar eclipse June 10. You may gain from the publishing or broadcasting industries when an assignment goes up to write or produce a story, or you could be the subject of one.

If you are going back to college or are a professor or teaching instructor, this eclipse will help you with gratifying options.

Are you in a legal case or want to bring one? This eclipse will help you make plans to present your case to the courts. File your case after Mercury goes direct, June 22. The same holds true if you want to file a trademark or patent.

If your birthday falls on October 11, plus or minus four days, the June 10 eclipse will be doubly special for you. The same is true if you have Libra rising or your natal moon in Libra at 20 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. Also, if you have your birth chart, look to see if you have a planet in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius at 20 degrees, plus or minus five degrees—this eclipse will light up that planet and have it work hard for you.

Now let’s look at the new place Mars is heading after it leaves your career sector. Remember, you will have a powerful new moon July 9, so you are not giving up your search for a better job.

From June 11 to July 29, a period of seven weeks, Mars will be in fire-sign Leo, your eleventh house of friendship, where Mars will stir lot of activity. You will love the change. Mars has not been in this area of your chart for two years. This is a smooth, easy, joyful area of your chart, bright and sunny and perfect for kicking back and enjoying life with those you love to mingle with.

You may also decide to volunteer to help a humanitarian, charitable, or political organization to help a group that has been overlooked and marginalized. This is an area of compassion, so you may be moved to give some of your time to a group you believe in. If you do, you will make new friends, and they would be people similar to you who were also moved to assuage the suffering of those less fortunate.

Venus and Mars are the zodiac’s cosmic lovers, and they long to be together. That rarely happens, though, for the universe sends them to every corner of our solar system on various assignments, so usually Venus and Mars have to be happy with gazing at one another across deep space. Even that, as limited as it feels, can only happen when they are in certain positions where a line of vision is possible.

For all these reasons, I am excited to tell you that Venus and Mars will embrace at long last next month on July 13. They will meet in Leo, a sign that is so very good for you! Leo loves luxury, so plan a grand dinner with the one you love for that evening (it’s a Tuesday). Everyone will enjoy that evening, but you will enjoy it more because you are ruled by Venus, so it has more weight and importance in your chart. Circle that date next month—July 13!

Now let’s look at a perfectly gorgeous full moon on Thursday, June 24, in Capricorn, 3 degrees, to light your house of home and family. This will be one of the happiest, most generous full moons of the year because it will receive tight, direct, and brilliant rays from Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck. You may have a family reunion, entertain a small group of friends, or make a good decision on behalf of your elderly mother or father (or another family member you think of as a parent).

Your kitchen may now be finished by your contractor, and you will be thrilled by the results. You may close on a house or make a major purchase of furniture, art, or something else sumptuous for the home, and you will love your choice. To make a good deal, you need a well-placed Mercury, and you will have it, as Mercury will no longer be retrograde by the time of this full moon, June 24. Just as important, Saturn will be very supportive of Mercury at the time of the full moon, indicating a long-term, stable situation. In other words, you will likely enjoy your choice for a long time into the future and feel a sense of security that is new and very welcome.

Ever since the pandemic appeared last year, you’ve been aching to get out of the house to travel, if only for a weekend stay. Your yen to leave reached epic proportions last month at the full moon eclipse in Sagittarius, May 26. If you did manage to take a road trip to a friend’s or relative’s house, you may have found that instead of quenching your thirst for travel, it only stimulated you to want more.

Watch to see what happens near the June 10 new moon in Gemini, when you may be able to travel a long distance.

If you take a business trip, be clear about what you and your client (or if you are the client, your collaborator) are trying to achieve, because you both have to be on the same page for a successful outcome. Neptune will be in a difficult position, suggesting you each may have different assumptions. You can easily fix the liability Neptune might be making by talking together and asking questions. Jupiter is protecting your ability to get plenty of new projects and assignments now through July. With Mercury retrograde until June 22, go back to former clients for best luck—they may have more work to offer you.

You have enormous opportunity to advance your career, for you have had Mars acting like an “advance man” to turn on the brilliant lights in your reputation sector, alerting others to your career accomplishments. By the new moon next month on July 9, the offers should start coming to you. If you have not landed the right job in May prior to Mercury turning retrograde, it may be because you need more than Mars’ help—you need the right new moon. You will have it soon, by next month, on July 9. Don’t be away on vacation where cell phone service is spotty or non-existent just after July 9—you might miss some of the best professional opportunities of the year.

In the meantime, this month’s new moon solar eclipse of June 10 bodes well for you in one of the following areas: distant travel, international relationships, import-export, immigration matters, and those involving a visa, green card, or citizenship. Alternatively, you may be focused on a media project involving publishing, broadcasting, or a digital assignment (apps, podcasts, augmented reality, virtual reality, and new digital forms). In a different manifestation of this eclipse, you may get help from the court system. If you file a case, wait until Mercury goes direct to do so, June 22 and beyond.

Alternatively, good news may come from academia when you take a qualifying exam, graduate, or defend your thesis, as three of many possible examples. An eclipse in Gemini blends well with your air-sign Libra element, so news at this eclipse should please you. Eclipses bring change, and you appear to welcome what comes up.

Saturn, the planet that teaches the importance of working hard and forming a firm foundation for the long-term, will give this eclipse a big boost. Saturn will also help you make lasting alliances, so the plan you put in place at and after this new moon eclipse on June 10 will likely be one that remains in place a very long time.

Although July will be your most critical point in the year for your career progress, with Venus in your reputation sector through most of June, VIPs will speak well of you.

This month is filled with opportunity for you, for the full moon (not an eclipse) on June 24 is likely to set off an exciting five-day period when news, or a decision you make, involving you home life will please you to no end for now and the future. (All full moons have a plus or minus four days of influence.) You may get ready to move, choose and pay for a vacation rental house, or buy new furniture, as some examples. By this sparkling full moon, your plans for your home or other property will come to fruition. Full moons bring things to a finish, so you may see the painters leave, the contractor complete your kitchen, or have the repairs done that you’ve wanted to do get completed for a long time.

This area of your chart also rules your parents and close family members, so if you have been trying to find a solution for your mother or father’s situation, you will make a final choice that proves to be ideal. Jupiter will be directing golden, dazzling rays to the Sun and new moon, the reason this full moon will be one of the best of the year. If you need a new space to move into, by all means start looking in June with the plan to make a decision by June 24.
