Your Horoscope for Libra
by Susan MillerAll this emphasis on your professional progress has not left you a lot of time to have fun in your personal life, but that will change once Mars moves out of Cancer on April 17. The pressure to perform in your career (if you’ve felt any) will lighten noticeably, and you will have created enough momentum to safely turn away a little bit to cater to your personal life. Mars will move into Leo and your eleventh house of social activity and happiness on April 17, to stay until June 17. There is no other house quite like this one—it is very special.
This coming two-month period (April 17 to June 17) will mark a flurry of social activity for you filled with happy experiences as you reconnect with friends, and it may include long-distance travel. Mars takes two years to visit any sign of the zodiac, so you’ve not hosted Mars in Leo since May 2023 to July 2023.
Your eleventh house, where Mars will be during these two months, is the place in your chart that the ancient Greek astrologers from the Hellenistic period associated with pure joy. Your wish might be spiritual or material in nature, but one way or another, if you worked on realizing that goal, you may now see the results when that dream becomes a reality.
Mars in Leo is a great place for you because Leo is a fire sign, and your Sun in Libra is an air sign, so they blend beautifully—air makes fire burn more brightly. There are moments when an exception to this rule comes into play—when Mars comes into conflict with other planets during his orbit through Leo. This does not mean Mars in Leo is not good for you—it is—but I have to look at your entire chart and see when one or two planets will move into a cranky position with Mars. That will happen two times this month, and the first instance will occur during the April 12 full moon.
