Your April 2025 Horoscope for Libra
by Susan MillerA new moon solar eclipse occurred in Aries, 9 degrees, last month on March 29. That eclipse might have brought an exciting update from your spouse or established partner. If you are not attached, you may have heard news from your business partner, agent, or other professional that you collaborate with closely.
Eclipses are harbingers of change. Their job is to create progress and productivity, and to do that, they can radically shift your timetable. Often something you had promised yourself you’d do “someday” happens immediately at eclipse time. Additionally, an event or decision by someone from the outside world that you had no knowledge or control over (and may have never met) causes a series of dynamic changes to be set in motion, and the result of that choice or action winds up at your doorstep.
This eclipse was outstandingly friendly, and by that I mean the planets involved were unusually harmonious. I cannot see everything in your own unique chart from where I sit, so if you have something glitchy in your horoscope that I cannot see that causes you to say, “I feel this March 29 eclipse was not so friendly”—be patient. Even if you feel that way, do not be too quick to pronounce this (or any) eclipse to be “bad” because all eclipses have a second act. You need to see how everything unfolds before you can judge how it will ultimately work out.
One of the hallmarks of an eclipse is to shine a brilliant light of truth on a circumstance to reveal information that, once you know it, you can use to protect yourself or move into a better situation. If you have been living under a misconception, the March 29 eclipse would instantly banish wrong thinking and put you on a realistic path. The same is true if someone has not been honest and straightforward with you—the truth would come out.
A solar eclipse is always a new moon, so the events it triggers are far less likely to be emotional than a full moon lunar eclipse. Instead of bringing an end to a long-term situation (as a full moon lunar eclipse would do), a solar eclipse like the one on March 29 would raise the curtain to give you a fresh chance to experience something new.
