I will admit that having Saturn in your eighth house is not easy. If you are self-employed, you may not have been paid on time, causing stress as you waited for cash. If your ex promised to give you a settlement in a divorce, you might have had to wait for the money, if you saw it at all.
From May 24 to September 1, Saturn will move into Aries and your ninth house—an easier place to host Saturn (and as said, Saturn will return to your ninth house from February 2026 to April 2028). Your ninth house covers your pursuit of an advanced degree at university, international travel and relationships, import-export of ideas, goods, and services, immigration, publishing and broadcasting, and legal matters (not only bringing a case to court but also filing a patent or trademark, for example).
In astrology, the houses are grouped into three categories in the four quadrants of your chart. Briefly, the houses where the planets have the strongest influence are the angular houses (first, fourth, seventh, and tenth houses), next come the milder succedent houses (second, fifth, eighth, and eleventh houses), and the cadent houses are where the planets have the weakest influence of all (third, sixth, ninth, and twelfth houses).
You are fortunate now that Saturn, the strict teacher planet, is moving into your mild cadent ninth house—you won’t feel the tension you have had since March 2023 when Saturn entered your financial eighth house. You are almost done with your nearly three-year period of Saturn’s “tough love” tutoring.
Saturn asks us all to think long-term and to delay instant gratification for future gain. For example, you have almost completed a full term with Saturn from 2023 to now. During that time, Saturn may have given you the impetus to save up for the down payment on a house or for the arrival of a baby. Saturn has likely made you practical and realistic about money. If you applied for a loan or mortgage, you might have been put through a lot of bureaucratic red tape and had a stack of paperwork to handle. If you didn’t receive the loan or mortgage, you will have a better chance in late May, June, and July, and you will be in an even more favorable position to get money when Saturn is in Aries at the new moon on March 19, 2026, next year.
