Your March 2025 Horoscope for Leo
by Susan MillerIt looks like you’ve been studying your financial records, perhaps to gather receipts to give your accountant to file your taxes, or you might be reviewing what you earned last year because you have a major goal, such as to buy a house, go to graduate school, or have a baby, as three examples. It is true that big dreams often require large sums of money, so this realization might be the impetus for you to study your income to find new ways to increase it or to make the cash you’ve saved yield better growth.
The new moon in Pisces that occurred on February 27 gave you the motivation to get started, and your timing has never been better. Jupiter, called the planet of gifts and luck, was in ideal angle to Venus, the planet that rules your career (tenth house). This lovely aspect will affect you during the first 10 days of March. Having Jupiter in a fine sextile is an opportunity aspect. Jupiter is based in your friendship sector, so a close friend may give you advice or “street” information (that he heard through his friends or colleagues) that turns out to be right and helps you find ways to increase your income. To be clear, you aren’t falling for “get rich quick schemes”—you will see success through safe, well-researched actions.
Neptune has spent 14 years in your financial eighth house of other people’s money, and there are pros and cons to Neptune having been there so long. On one hand, Neptune may have brought you income through your work in arts or entertainment. Neptune is a planet that fosters talent through a rich imagination, creativity, and appreciation of the arts. Additionally, since Neptune is linked to compassion, you may have made your living in a nonprofit charity or humanitarian organization.
On the other hand, Neptune is known to create fog, obscuring vital information. Someone might have taken advantage of your good nature and stolen money from you, or someone you trusted may have coaxed you to sign a bad deal that was too one-sided in their favor, not yours. Alternatively, it might have been that you were too busy to learn how to invest your money and other financial management skills, so you worked very hard but never had a fiduciary financial advisor to look out for your investments nor an accountant who could correctly point out legal deductions you qualified for and could have taken advantage of. All that will change now.
On March 30 Neptune will finally move out of your financial eighth house that rules estate planning, commissions, royalties, cash advances, insurance payouts, child support, court and divorce settlements, inheritance, mortgage, bank and student loans, lines of credit, venture capital, taxes and tax refunds, prize winnings, and company perks and benefits, as examples. In other words, this house rules money that comes to you outside of your salary. Hosting Neptune in a house that’s all about facts and figures is like an astrological oxymoron.
