Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
You may assume it will be impossible to get a new position or promotion because the pandemic has caused an avalanche of unemployment—and that’s true. Still, you are among the few who are holding all aces. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will be prized, so emphasize your skills along with other assets you’ve developed over time. All that you did 18 months ago will now come into play, and if you worked hard then, this will be the time of reward. That is not to say you won’t have competition—you will—and you might see this to be true near the lunar eclipse, June 5, in your opposite sign of Sagittarius.
If you have been dating a long time, you could be anxious to get married. However, Venus in Gemini is retrograde, so wait, for it’s not a favorable time—plan your wedding for 2021. Besides, it appears that you may be hesitant about the entire idea of promising your love forever, so you might be surer about how you feel until much after Venus goes direct, June 24. You have time to think through your feelings.
In case you needed another reason to be patient, Mercury will retrograde from June 17 to July 12. Mercury is your ruler, so it is likely you will face delays and do-overs during that phase. You may change your mind several times this month, and that’s okay because it shows you are thinking matters through thoroughly.
Later this year, Mars will retrograde too, from September 9 to November 13, so not only is Venus retrograde, indicating now would be a bad time to tie the knot, but Mars, Venus’ mythological lover, will soon be retrograde and emphasize it’s not a good time to wed. (Mars rules sex, and it becomes non-existent or completely dull in short time when Mars is retrograde.) Mars retrogrades every two years, so you have 2021 as a good year to plan. I list Mercury retrograde periods for each year until 2030 on the front page of my website. See the Table of Mercury Retrograde Dates on the lower-left side of the screen. I post that so you can plan.
