Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
I feel these two areas—money and love (romance, fun, and leisure, too)—are separate, but they could be linked. Remarkably, Uranus is hounding Mercury and is also still in direct opposition to your ruling planet, so it’s possible more unexpected news is tumbling forward and about to come out into the open. All new moons start trends, they don’t finish them, as full moons do. Alas, what comes up mid-October may be a theme that you will work with for months.
If your birthday falls on June 16, plus or minus five days, this new moon, although problematic, can work for you because it is in harmony with your natal Sun. The same is true if you have Gemini rising 24 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. If you have a natal planet in Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius at 24 degrees, that planet will be lit up and helpful to you.
The worst aspect this month will be the full moon on October 31, which as you know is also Halloween. That full moon will be in Taurus, 9 degrees, illuminating your twelfth house of secrets that now will reveal themselves. What concerns me is that Uranus, the planet of completely unexpected events, will be conjunct with the moon and opposing the Sun within one tight degree. Whoa. I certainly would not advise anyone to trick or treat this year, not even a child. (If your child insists, go with your children, even if they are teenagers. This is a violent aspect.)
The Sun is in your house of health, so you will have to keep up with your protective regimens against the coronavirus. Wash hands and wear that mask when outside. Keep socially distanced and don’t let down your guard. Authorities warn against pandemic fatigue, but that is exactly what the virus hopes you will fall victim to. Mathematically, I see there will be a second wave of the virus in October, peaking in mid-November and gently flattening the curve in December. We may hear an announcement about a vaccine by Christmas, but more likely, I feel we’ll hear on or very near January 12.
