Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

Just when you assumed you could not work any harder than you have lately, the new moon of November 4 brings more assignments. This new moon will fall in Scorpio, your sixth house of workday experiences, at 13 degrees. This house encompasses the work you do on a daily basis, the co-workers and subordinates who report to you, the team members you rely on, and the headquarters and the environment it encompasses. If you are not in the work force, it includes your nanny, housekeeper, gardener, and others who help you on a regular basis and the tools they use that you provide for them to do their job for you.

The problem is that we have Uranus on a rampage riling up the transiting Sun and new moon of November 4. If there is anything that you’ve not been aware of, whether because you ignored the signals or that the information was hidden from you, this new moon will bring that information to the surface with speed and force. With Uranus tightly opposed to the Sun and new moon, the message you receive will seem to come out of left field.

Uranus is called the Great Awakener, and in early November, Uranus will come in to sweep away debris to correct a situation that has gone on too long without a solution. Said another way, Uranus will do for you what you could not accomplish for yourself. A trusted subordinate member on your staff at work or at home who you may have felt has not been doing his or her job well may now announce their departure.

Or you may discover troubling news about that person’s behavior, and you may ask that person to leave. Alternatively, it may be that your firm may startle you with an announcement concerning an upcoming change in the company’s structure, management, or location of headquarters. Or the company may announce a merger.

Taskmaster Saturn will be in hard angle to the new moon and Sun, so no matter what comes up, you will feel the weight of more responsibilities coming your way, but possibly only temporarily. Don’t try to fix things quickly. New moons have a long tail and are very unlike full moons that wrap up situations fast. You will need patience.

If you are not currently employed, you might be busy looking for temporary or permanent work similar to the work you used to do. (Looking for a job is hard work, as anyone can attest to who has gone through the process.) Employed or not, it looks as though you are not looking to take on more responsibility, but due to changes in your environment, you may need to take on more anyway. For example, if an office assistant or housekeeper leaves, you will have to do his or her work too, until you can find a replacement. This will be no ordinary month, so plan to stay close to home rather than travel, and don’t over schedule yourself.

On the plus side, the new moon and her partner the Sun will both receive shimmering rays from Neptune, so it appears you may be inspired by the work you will be doing this month. It may allow you to be experimental or creative, so in that respect the work you get involved in could be different and refreshing.

The Sun and Neptune will be in sync on November 12. Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio (the sign of the new moon) will also be supportive of Neptune, giving further evidence that your name in your industry will continue to grow. Any stress you might feel would have to do with day-to-day routine matters, projects on your desk, and people you hire to help you. Although glitches may be annoying, you will emerge triumphant.

Venus, positioned in your eighth house of other people’s money, will receive a friendly vibration from Uranus, so you may receiver a handsome sum, quite unexpectedly, either as a windfall or as new business that will pay you well.

The unexpected challenges brought on by Uranus could also bring a large expense or loss of one source of income. For example, if you are self-employed or in sales, you may lose one of your regular clients. (I say that because the moon rules your earned income sector in your solar chart.) This will only clear the way for you to get an even better source.

The Sun will be challenged by Uranus too, and in your chart, dear Gemini, the Sun rules your communication sector, so the new moon may bring some turbulence to your writing, editing, speaking, computer coding and software development, game development, and the process of publicity, social media, digital production, marketing, advertising, union bargaining, or any kind of work requiring negotiation. Don’t launch a new product or service in this chaotic month.

One long-term opportunity may dry up because it has outlived its shelf-life. As the universe cannot tolerate a vacuum, you will soon find another gig to fill the void. Fear not, your outlook for financial success remains strong.

Avoid taking an important trip in early to mid-November. Do not sign important contracts in November either. Everyone, of every sign, will be rattled by this new moon of November 4, each sign in different ways depending on the area of their chart where this new moon arrives. The problem is that a new moon sets up a theme that could take as long as six months to fully resolve.

Mars will add more fuel to this same work-a-day area of your chart, for Mars entered Scorpio on October 30 and will stay until December 13. Mars is tagging behind the Sun and new moon. This is the same area of your chart where the new moon will appear on November 4, so Mars will add even more concentration on everything happening now. Your plate will be full in the coming six weeks.

At least Mars will leave Scorpio in mid-December, giving you relaxing time to spend with your spouse or committed steady partner during the happy holiday season. (Mars will move into Sagittarius, favoring those Gemini who are already in a close relationship. Single Gemini will have time to breathe and socialize.)

Take note: November 13 is a day when Uranus will aim his cannons at Mercury to exact degree. Mercury is your ruler, the planet meant to take good care of you, so steer clear of that day for any major meetings. Don’t sign papers on this dreadful day either because not much good would come of the deal.

Whether or not you have a heavy load at work or at home, you may be focused on your health. You must be good to yourself. If you have a medical concern requiring a procedure that you know you should address but have been putting off, something may come up to convince you that you need to finalize it—you will find the time to do so this month.

Make an appointment with your doctor, and see what the test results show. Mercury is no longer retrograde, so you might want to attend to this now, before the holidays. Neptune’s fine angle to the Sun and new moon suggests that a newly developed medicine might be helpful. (Just avoid November 4 and November 13 and a few days surrounding each of those dates).

In a month that seems to have everything, on November 19, we will have a full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus, 27 degrees, starting eclipse season. This eclipse will appear in your twelfth house of secrets, confidential matters, and confinement. Lunar eclipses are super-strong full moons, and because eclipses are always in a hurry to deliver a floodlight of truth and full disclosure, if there was information that you never knew, never was given, or that someone didn’t want you to know, it will suddenly spring forth with the force of a geyser. Your intuition will be very strong in November—one of the protective tools the universe will provide you with to cope with all this activity.

Eclipses always coincide with new and full moons, but they jack up the energy of those lunations, making them new and full moons on steroids. Eclipses are powerful, and often they bring landmark life events we long remember.

The twelfth house rules secrets, so when a full moon or an eclipse happens there, a secret often comes to light. Since the November 19 full moon is a lunar eclipse in Taurus (your twelfth house), if you do hear of news that someone tried to hide from you, it will likely rattle you and require that you make adjustments, depending on what you hear.

The November 19 eclipse will bring an ending or some sort of closure. It falls in your twelfth house of confinement, which includes work done in solitude and healing done in places where you’re separated from the public, such as a hospital or rehab center. You might have your procedure now or go to a professional therapist to talk over a problem for a new point of view. If you have become dependent on a substance, you can work with professionals trained to help patients with the same matter you are dealing with and who have had success in healing patients like you.

On the same day as the November 19 eclipse, Uranus will attack Mars in a 180-degree tug-of-war—an explosive aspect. You might be drawn into an argument almost by accident, or you may feel there’s a situation where you cannot be silent any longer. It’s a volatile time, and no one can predict how the chips will fall if you do speak up, so be sure you know what you hope to accomplish by giving someone a piece of your mind. It may be worth doing to clear the air and to express to the transgressor how you feel, or you may feel it’s better to take the noble approach, say nothing, and separate yourself from the person as soon as possible. If you think someone is a hot head, or has a mental or emotional illness, deliver your responses quietly and calmly, careful not to trigger a blowup that would become greater than you can handle.

Mars opposition Uranus usually indicates a sudden, severe split between two people, never to come back together again. More specifically, Mars opposition Uranus can indicate you are about to walk out of your job, or a person who reports to you is ready to leave and will shock you when she announces her impending departure, which may happen immediately with no notice. (Lunar eclipses point to a woman and often someone is “eclipsed out” of your life, and in this case, it would be someone who reports to you.)

Uranus opposed to Mars can be violent in a physical sense, too (not just bring on anger in an emotional manifestation). Physical violence seems unlikely to happen in an office setting, though. Just make sure you watch where you are walking, however, as you could walk into a wall or miss a step going down an unfamiliar staircase.

Saturn will be in hard angle to Mars, which is interesting, for Mars is all about being impulsive and acting quickly, but Saturn is blocking Mars, asking you to reconsider and to think twice before you make a move. This may help you, considering how Uranus is out of control this month and poking Mars to provoke him (and you) in the process. This not an easy month.

This eclipse of November 19 may also again put you in contact with medical personnel, either for yourself or as an advocate for a friend or family member. If your doctor finds something wrong, nip it in the bud. Full moon eclipses bring closure.

As tough as this eclipse may initially be, we have to look to Venus as the leading planet that will give us an indication of the final resolve because this is an eclipse in Taurus (and Venus rules Taurus).

Remarkably, Venus will be the only well-aspected planet at this eclipse and will receive silvery, electric (friendly) beams from Uranus, and that will bring on a surprise about money. If you need surgery, the eighth house (where Venus is for you) rules insurance, along with gifts, commissions, bonuses, and other one-time payments of cash. With Venus in Capricorn, your eighth house of other people’s money, it’s possible a large sum of money may be sent to you in a one-time payment, and it would come out of the blue. You may receive a handsome sum, quite unexpectedly, either as a windfall or as new business that will pay you well.

Aside from money, the eighth house rules transformations, so after all the turbulence of November, you will emerge triumphant—this position of Venus shows the final resolve will be positive for you, even if you don’t see the truth of this immediately. In time you will see—this eclipse will have been your friend.

SUMMARY

Cosmic storms are moving through, so don’t overbook your agenda as you will need flexibility in how you use your time. You will need to focus your attention on your health and day-to-day office life. If you are not working, you might be spending time looking for work similar to what you’ve done in the past. Whether or not you are currently working, you are probably not looking for more responsibility, but you may need to take on more just the same. We haven’t seen a month like this in some time, so remain close to home, and don’t overload yourself.

The new moon on November 4 is under siege by unpredictable Uranus. You may be unaware of some things. Maybe you ignored the signals, or information was kept from you. Regardless of how it may have happened, this new moon will bring information to the surface with great speed and force. With Uranus tightly opposed to the Sun and new moon, the news will seem to come quite unexpectedly.

Uranus, known as the Great Awakener, will swoop in this month and correct a situation that has gone on too long without a solution, such as a trusted, but disappointing, subordinate member of your staff at work or a key helper at home will suddenly announce their departure (keeping you from having to let him or her go), or you may discover troubling news about that person’s behavior and be forced to ask that person to leave. Alternatively, you may hear news from your company that rattles you.

Taskmaster Saturn will be angry at the new moon and Sun, so you will need to take on more responsibilities. Don’t try to find solutions to things quickly. What comes up at new moons can take six months (or more) to resolve. They are not like full moons that wrap up situations fast, so be patient.

The Sun will feel the brunt of Uranus, and the Sun in your solar chart has dominion over your communication skill, mostly having to do with writing or speaking. One long-term opportunity may end, but because the universe cannot tolerate a vacuum, you will soon find another gig to fill the void. The moon rules your income, so you may lose a source of income but fear not—your outlook for financial success remains strong.

Of all the planets, Neptune is the cheeriest and most helpful to you this month, for this planet of imagination will send a silvery beam directly to the Sun and new moon, stimulating your creativity and resourcefulness.

You’ll find some relief on November 12 when the Sun and Neptune will be in sync. Besides the Sun, Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio (where the new moon will appear) will also bolster Neptune, giving further evidence that your name in your industry will continue to grow. The extra responsibility I see you taking on temporarily might have to do with a team member at work or an assistant at home leaving. You would have to do their job until you can find a replacement. Although you may be annoyed at these various challenges, you will emerge triumphant.

The action in November won’t stop, and on November 19, we will have a lunar eclipse in Taurus, your twelfth house of secrets, things that are hidden, and confidential matters. Lunar eclipses are super-strong full moons. Again, information that was kept from you (deliberately or not) will suddenly burst forth. Eclipses are always in a hurry to illuminate the truth with full disclosure.

This eclipse may, again, have you dealing with medical personnel, either for yourself or as an advocate. If your doctor finds something, tend to it right away. Full moon eclipses bring closure.

Venus, positioned in your eighth house of other people’s money, will receive a friendly vibration from Uranus, so you may receiver a handsome sum, quite unexpectedly, either as a windfall or as new business that will pay you well.
