Your May 2025 Horoscope for Gemini
by Susan Miller
SUMMARY
Last month’s new moon in Taurus on April 27 brought pressure from people near and far. Mars and Pluto were at loggerheads again, continuing their long-term argument that started in early November and has been raging on and off since then. Everyone of every sign has been feeling the heat in different ways.
You might have been feeling that pressure from Mars and Pluto by having sky-high expenses recently, and you could have also had occasional stress emanating from certain relatives, such as your in-laws or an aunt, uncle, sibling, or cousin, or from a neighbor or foreign person. Early to mid-May would not be the right time to travel. Delay trips until month’s end.
Mercury, your ruler, had been retrograding since March 15, but he went direct on April 7 and just recently worked up to full power on April 26. Additionally, Venus has been retrograding since March 1 but finally went direct last month on April 12. Venus will be fully robust again by May 16. Mars had retrograded December 6 to February 23 but took a long time to normalize his strength, and that will happen on May 2.
This all means that you have been facing one roadblock after another since late November. These three planets that were causing the frustration are the so-called “personal planets” that orbit closest to Earth, so we notice their retrogrades more than the outer planets. The past months were not conducive to high productivity, no matter how hard you worked.
