First, you have a magically enchanting romantic night coming up when Mars and his lover Venus will align perfectly (in a heavenly trine) on Thursday May 22. Mars will be in fire-sign Leo and Venus will be in fire-sign Aries, signs that blend ideally with your air-sign Gemini. You may be invited to a party that night or a gorgeous romantic event, but if not, make your own plans for a special evening. Single Gemini could meet someone new and interesting—the main mission of Venus and Mars, when aligned, is to set off sparks of new love. If you are attached, you can fan the fires of affection—don’t let this night go by without doing something special.
Venus will be in highly compatible Aries all month (a place Venus entered on April 30) and will remain in sweet Aries until June 5. Mars will remain in compatible Leo until June 17. You have a beautiful outlook for enjoying warmth and affection. Mars is in your short trips sector, so you might get a chance to travel to a pretty nearby spot.
Now for even bigger news.
You may have been frustrated by how this year has been going (most of us feel the same way). If you feel that you were walking through glue, with two steps forward and one step back over and over, it is due to the plethora of retrogrades that started in November and kept going through April.
However, no planet snaps back to strong shape the minute it goes direct. It needs time to work back up to its former strength. We had to get through a feud between Pluto and Mars, plus some difficult new and full moons, and in March a set of two eclipses, which usually asks for an adjustment.
If you are standing on your desk screaming into a bullhorn saying, “Enough! No more of this!” I understand. I am with you. Everyone of every sign was in the same boat. However, I feel the official start of 2025 begins on the new moon of May 26, which arrives late in the evening EDT, so for all purposes, mark down May 27 as your special start date.
