Your May 2025 Horoscope for Gemini
by Susan MillerAs you begin May, you have just come through a possibly jarring new moon on April 27 in Taurus, located in your twelfth house. You may have learned of a secret that someone tried to conceal from you. The reason I feel that new moon was flawed is because, concurrently to the appearance of the April 27 new moon, Mars and Pluto were back to fighting their fierce argument that cut across the intellectual and opinion parts of your chart, involving your third and ninth houses. You might have found that expressing your perspective brought on a dramatic response, and the person you were talking to could have had a complete, angry melt down. You will still have to be careful about what you express about your world view or values in the first half of May. Fortunately, after the third week of May, Mars and Pluto will have inched too far apart to be within earshot of each other. Life will settle down, and any subtle anxiety you may have felt in the background will dissipate.
With Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius (both are fixed signs), nobody will want to move toward a compromise but will instead cling tightly to their original positions. Mars and Pluto have been in a tight feud since early November 2024. Then they backed off a little (but not enough to create calm) before they reignited their argument in early January. Both planets then stepped back (but, again, not far enough to give you relief) only to come back and lock horns again on April 26. Fortunately, Mars is now moving forward, having been hampered in the past by having been retrograde (the reason Mars kept clashing with Pluto so often). This will improve as you reach the third week of May—Mars and Pluto will speed off in their different ways.
In the meantime, you will have to watch what you say to people who don’t share your views for most of this month because the atmosphere is charged in the way a landscape is just before a thunderstorm. You could mention something in conversation that causes the other party to have a complete meltdown. Be diplomatic this month. You won’t be able to convince anyone of your point of view, so you might as well cool your jets.
