Venus will retrograde from March 1 to April 12. Venus goes retrograde every 18 months, so we don’t have that much experience with Venus in this mode. Venus rules your fifth house of true love, so if you are single, this would not be a good time to date a new person. Venus is all about warmth and affection, but if you meet someone while Venus is debilitated, your feelings (or that of the other person) may cool off quickly. It would be best to wait a while and devote your time to your career.

Venus is also all about good looks and your appearance, so while Venus is retrograde, don’t ask your dermatologist for Botox or fillers or your dentist for cosmetic procedures. Keep your hair trimmed but without making any dramatic changes. You may not like the result if you act now.

Venus will go direct on April 12 but will take until May 16 to regain her full power. Planets are a little like people—once they turn direct after having been asleep, they are a bit wobbly and groggy and need a little time and coffee to wake up. May 16, however, is too close to the difficult full moon on May 12 when Uranus will oppose the full moon (all full moons have a five-day area of influence after they appear). Wait until the best new moon of the year, the new moon in Gemini on May 26, to begin to socialize in earnest and to make all the changes to your appearance that your heart desires.
