News from Susan Miller
July will be a big month with lots of opportunities to be productive and also to have fun. This month no longer has Mercury retrograde—that ended June 22. July has no eclipses or angry new or full moons. In short, things should hum along for you, and you will likely be pleased with how things go in your professional and personal life.
Now, turning to another subject, do you believe in synchronicity? I do. When something terrible happens in my life, like the unexpected death of my former husband, Don Miller, I look to see what else is happening in my life at the same time. Any upbeat developments I see can help to point to a way to heal. The universe will always strive for balance by delivering happy news, often at the same time. When Turner Classic Movies called me to do an assignment, which I am thrilled to tell you about below, I knew this was just the boost I needed to lift my spirits.
Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
Would you like to make more money? Of course, you would! The new moon on July 9 will give you the chance to do just that, so be ready to make the most of it.
Before we talk about the new moon, I need to tell you that you may get an inkling of just how well your finances will do this month when the Sun in Cancer and surprise planet Uranus trade signals in a sextile position (denoting special opportunity) on July 5. You could hear that money is on the way.
The new moon will arrive on July 9 in Cancer, 18 degrees, and it will underscore this trend on a much larger level. The new moon will light your second house of earned income, and with Uranus in a behind-the-scenes position, a VIP may have been impressed with your work and suddenly given you a very lucrative assignment. New moons bring fresh beginnings, and they open doors to new opportunities.
This new moon is your best chance in 2021 to find ways to earn more money. You might want to ask for a raise in the days that follow this new moon, July 9, or you may have already interviewed for a job, and you’re now at the negotiation phase, discussing your salary.
If you are self-employed, this new moon on July 9 will be a good time to begin pitching new business. Help things along by touting your product with advertising, promotion, and social media. Remember, you only get one new moon each year in your second house of earned income, and this is it!
If anyone owes you money, that money is likely to be sent to you just after the new moon, July 9.
We must always look at the aspects of the new moon to judge how things will go. Uranus will be in the perfect position to see that you get more surprise news about money that will be on the way to you. When news arrives, you will likely say it was completely unexpected. Neptune will be friendly to that new moon too, so if you do artistic work or are involved with creative work on a project, you will also be helped by Neptune, the planet of imagination.
Your career has the potential to set off beautiful fireworks now. Jupiter, the good fortune planet, made a little detour into Pisces on May 13 and will remain there until July 28. While in Pisces, for the first time in 12 years, Jupiter will bring his benefits to your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. This is fantastic. If you didn’t see a prestigious career victory in May or June, July will be a superb month to see something exciting happen in your career. In June, Mercury was retrograde most of the month (May 29 to June 22), so things moved along slowly. You will have Jupiter, the great benefactor, to help you this month, so do press forward with your career goals.
Put a gold star on your calendar on July 12, when Mercury will receive magnificent beams in a “trine” (heavenly harmony) from lucky Jupiter. Although everyone will enjoy this day, you will enjoy it more because Mercury is your ruler. Focus on Mercury-ruled activities: communications and transportation.
Jupiter will be back to Pisces, your tenth house of fame, starting December 28 and for several months in 2022, almost guaranteeing that the coming year will be big for your career.
Jupiter went retrograde on June 20 and will go direct on October 17 (right before Mercury goes direct, as Mercury will retrograde next from September 27 to October 18). You will like Jupiter’s retrograde, for Jupiter never acts as maddeningly when retrograde as Mercury. Jupiter’s backward slides are much milder.
More importantly, Jupiter will move back into Aquarius on July 28, a sign that is divine for you. Jupiter will be in a heavenly “trine” to your Sun, and that’s the best aspect you could ever wish to receive, so I am betting you will like the second half of 2021.
By May 13, Jupiter had orbited through all the degrees of Aquarius—the entire sign. As Jupiter goes retrograde, he will retreat as far back into Aquarius as 22 degrees, so if your birthday falls from June 12 to June 21, you will get an additional dose of luck from Jupiter. If your birthday falls earlier than June 12, you already had Jupiter in Aquarius from December 19, 2020, through May 13, 2021.
If your birthday falls earlier than June 12, look at the seeds you already planted during that period—something you started is about to grow like Jack in the Beanstalk’s beans. Also, you may have natal planets in your chart that are in later degrees (22 to 29 degrees) in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, and if you do, the planet that is in late degrees of one of those signs will work hard to help you.
From July 28 until December 29, 2021, Jupiter will remain in Aquarius and will again start to help you from your ninth house, the house that rules publishing and broadcasting, and this is wonderful news because almost every Gemini is skilled in the communication arts.
From August through most of December, you may be given exceptional assignments if you are a writer, editor, producer, agent, public speaker, or work in public relations, social media, or audio social media (like Clubhouse), or produce a podcast. The same holds true if you work in marketing, sales, advertising, or any other realm where your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will bring you success.
The other parts of the ninth house rule efforts you might make to get an advanced college or graduate degree. This part of your chart also rules international relationships, global markets, and the import-export of ideas, goods, and services. This section glitters, so you may start to write cover stories for international publications or see your book translated into several languages, as examples of the possibilities.
Travel to a city that requires your passport could be possible, but check the infection rate of that location first. Until Saturn leaves Aquarius on March 7, 2023, I will not breathe a sigh of relief. Aquarius is an air sign, linked to respiratory illness.
Legal matters will be in the spotlight too, whether you bring a case to the courts or file a trademark or patent.
The full moon will appear on July 23 in Aquarius, 1 degree, your ninth house (the house I was just discussing above), so you will see a culmination of one of the topics I listed just now.
This full moon will be in an out-of-sign conjunction with Pluto, making it powerful, for at the same time, Pluto will oppose the Sun. You may see money come in for work done earlier. If you get a new assignment (possible), it will require a lot of hard work, but it may pique your interest and curiosity, so you would likely enjoy it anyway.
Travel, give a speech, sign a contract, advertise, post on social media, buy a car, or send in an important application by an express mail service.
Dates you may want to circle because they will bode so well for you are July 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and July 19-20. These will be standout days.
Let’s now look at the other activities you might be involved with this month, and for that, we need to look at Mars.
After being in the house so much during the pandemic, you are probably ready to escape to just about anywhere. Mars, the action planet, entered Leo and started to light your third house of quick, short-distance travel on June 11 and will stay most of this month, until July 29. During this time, you will have many chances to pack and go, especially over weekends. Remarkably, Venus will be orbiting close to Mars, as she will be in Leo, too.
This is not a commonplace aspect—it’s special. Venus and Mars have a very special role in the zodiac—to spark love when they are in conjunction and, to some degree, when they signal each other across a star-studded sky. They long to be together, but alas, they are too often busy with their separate assignments, so all they can do is gaze at one another across deep space.
This month, Venus and Mars will be together, and this is great news for you for they will meet in your third house of quick, short-distance travel. With Venus and Mars together, you have a good chance of finding, or encouraging, romance and bonding closer with the one you love. At the very least, you will have fun.
The third house rules sisters, brothers, and cousins, so you may be seeing one or more of your close relatives this month, perhaps at the location you will be visiting.
If you’ve been watching your money during the pandemic, you may have been able to draw down debt and perhaps even add to your nest egg. Now, as you travel this month, you might feel you can spend a little money on yourself—Mars and Venus, in the royal sign of Leo, will put you in the mood for pampering and luxury. Staying at a beautiful hotel or going out and having someone serve you a delicious dinner probably sounds good. If you stay home, go to a spa for a massage or facial. The best day to treat yourself will be when Venus and Mars meet in sparkling conjunction on July 13.
You should travel this month, dear Gemini, as your home and family will get very active in the coming six weeks. Mars will enter Virgo, your home sector, on July 29 and remain there until September 14. Lots of activity will bubble up then with your home, other property, and your family, so you may want to stay home after July 29 unless you use that energy to visit family during that period. As you can see, you have an exciting July coming up!
Get ready to make money, dear Gemini, for the new moon of July 9 has a reward for you. This new moon will arrive in Cancer and light your second house of earned income. The best way to use a new moon is to plan an action shortly after the new moon arrives. If you are self-employed, launch a new product or service, or announce a flash sale of an item you’d like to spotlight. If you work for others, ask for a raise.
Fair warning, with Pluto opposed to this new moon, you may encounter a powerful individual at your company who does not believe your raise is necessarily warranted. Prepare a list of your accomplishments and contributions to the company, so if the time comes, you can present a impactful case for more money in your paycheck. The world runs on new ideas, so you might also want to propose a new project to the VIP you will see.
The full moon of July 23 will light your ninth house of information—that is, the information you take in through college or graduate school study or international travel. This also pertains to the information you share with others through publishing and broadcasting media. This full moon will fall in Aquarius and will be somewhat near Saturn, so something you have worked on with great concentration is coming to fullness—a book, a white paper, a documentary, a qualifying exam, or a meeting to defend your thesis. Or you may be an editor finishing up work on a sure-to-be blockbuster novel.
If you are a lawyer, you may complete a legal brief or present closing arguments in a court case. There will be a lot riding on your work, and details will count. It looks like you’ll need to be on your toes all month, but if you stay focused, you could achieve so much.
You will surely need time to relax, and apparently, the universe agrees. Remarkably, the only time in 2021 that the cosmic lovers, Venus and Mars, will embrace will be on July 13. They will meet in fire-sign Leo, a sign that blends perfectly with your air-sign element. Leo is a fun, flirty, luxury-loving sign and will keep the month lively.
Venus entered Leo on June 26 and will stay until July 21. Mars entered Leo on June 11 and will stay in Leo until July 29. These periods will be special for you, and you might have fireworks when Venus and Mars communicate on July 13.
Best of all, these two love planets will light your third house of quick, short-distance getaway travel. You may feel the brilliant energy of this aspect starting to build and grow over the preceding weekend, so circle it in gold and plan to do something special. Travel will be ideal—and possibly romantic—over the weekend of July 9-11 and then again from July 19 to 20.
Your home and family will be a hub of activity in August, so while you can take time to unwind, do it in July.
