Before I go, I want to say that your career is going quite well. You have multiple aspects to planets that indicate this. If you feel you are not advancing fast enough, it may be because Jupiter has been retrograde, but that will change when Jupiter in Gemini turns direct on February 4. From that point on, you should start to see progress.
Mars enters Cancer on January 6 and will remain in that sign until April 17. That’s a very long time—the reason for this extended transit is because Mars is currently retrograde, but the Red Planet will turn direct on February 23. It will take Mars until the end of April to fully regain his strength. Mars in Cancer might drive up your spending, but it will also motivate you to make more money.
The point I want to make, however, is that Mars in Cancer will be in lovely angle to Venus, Saturn, and Neptune who are all currently based in Pisces and your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. Even with a weary retrograde Mars, this represents solid support for your future career progress. This will happen at the end of the month after the Sun has moved into Aquarius, an air sign like yours. You will be in your element, and you will have your best opportunity to see professional gains at this time.
