Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
Now let’s turn to love because you have such unusually strong, dazzling aspects on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Here I will address couples, but if you are single, on that day make plans to see friends or go to a party. Don’t stay home. This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday night, perfect for socializing. I have looked at many Valentine’s Days in my life, but this one stands out as extra special.
If you have someone in your life that you love, Valentine’s Day would best be spent by taking a short trip to a lovely country setting. The transiting moon will be in Scorpio, which spells a yearning for privacy, so choose a charming bed-and-breakfast inn situated in or near a forest and also near water, such as a stream, lake, inlet, or babbling brook.
On Valentine’s Day, Venus, the love-me planet, will be in adventuresome Aries, and Mars will still be in Sagittarius, so both will be in lively, vibrant fire signs that blend ideally with your air sign. You will be eager to go somewhere new with your sweetheart or spouse. The fire-sign full moon in Leo on February 8 will still be influential days after it appears and make you long for a touch of luxury. I think you won’t want to travel far, but there will be no need. Look at your options, and you’ll be amazed at what you find.
If you live in the northern hemisphere and it snows where you will be, it will be like living in a dreamlike fairyland of brilliant white with cottages, trees, and mountaintops dusted with a thick layer of confectioner’s sugar. You’ll want to spend the day inside, enjoying privacy and time together, and when you leave your room, it will be for a candlelit dinner for two in a rustic, cozy bistro that is known for its fine food. If the owner has lit a roaring fire in the fireplace, you’ll be all set for an enchanting Valentine’s Day evening.
