Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
The month opens up with a big full moon on August 3 in Aquarius, 12 degrees, and you may find your longing for a change of scenery is growing stronger. For months you’ve been dealing with a financial matter that does not seem to be over yet. It may be that a negotiation has been drawn out or that someone who owes you money has been slow to pay. Understandably, you need a break. Although you’d love to hop on a plane, that’s likely out of the question during a deadly pandemic, but a road trip to the seashore or a remote location in the mountains may be possible and turn out to be fun.
This August 3 full moon has problems associated with it, however. Uranus, the planet of all things unexpected, will challenge both the full moon in Aquarius and the Sun in Leo at the same time. Uranus will take the lead as the most dominant planet, giving Uranus a double level of intensity—whatever comes up in the first week of August won’t be anything you expect. While it is possible you would have unanticipated difficulty on a trip, the ninth house (the place of this full moon for Gemini) also rules publishing and broadcasting projects, immigration, and education. You could have difficulties with a visa, green card, or citizenship or have news from your college, for any one of these areas can bring turbulence that you won’t see coming. To be clear, it wouldn’t be all these areas, just one, but even so, you’ll have to find a remedy for whatever comes up.
On the sidelines, Mars will harshly square (bringing obstacles) to Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn, and at the same time, Mercury will oppose this trio of heavy-duty planets from your second house of income.
Although you’d like to forget the strong emphasis on finances you have had for months, you still have a way to go. It appears a check is due, but it is running late, and you need to pay bills.
