A Note from Susan Miller
I am so happy to send you the August forecast, for it brims with happy surprises. July was an intense month for many readers, for we all were subject to two eclipses and Mercury retrograde. In comparison, August will be a breath of fresh air. Mercury is now direct, and we have one of the most beautiful new moons of 2019 on August 30 in Virgo. It will offer you an array of opportunities and many happy surprises in the last week.
Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
August will be glorious for you, dear Gemini. You’ve finished an entire month with Mercury retrograde, and when the trickster went direct on July 31, you gave out a sigh of relief. Don’t start diving into your ventures quite yet—you need a space of a few days at the very least before you sign contracts or make verbal agreements. I like August 5 or 6 for you to plan actions. Mercury always acts like Dennis the Menace at the start and end dates of the retrograde, which I call the bookend dates. You are almost there, and such good things await you in August!
You’ve also just come through two eclipses—one, a solar new moon eclipse on July 2, and the other, a tougher lunar full moon eclipse on July 16. Both hit your financial sectors, so you were thinking quite a lot about money and how to improve your income. Expenses appear to be running high, but it may be a temporary situation. There will be four more eclipses in this family of signs—Cancer and Capricorn. One will arrive on December 25 (a gorgeous solar eclipse that will help you financially), and after that, three in the first half of 2020—on January 10, June 20, and July 4.
This month there is a chance you might feel the message of last month’s eclipse within three days of August 2 or August 16. That’s because some people (about 15%) feel eclipses one month to the day after they occur, although most (about 70%) feel it in the month it occurs. A smaller number of readers (about 10%) feel eclipses one month to the day before they arrive—in this case, back on June 2 and June 16. No matter when the news of the eclipse arrived, your mind was on money matters. You might have paid off debts, sent estimated taxes, or received an old large bill that never reached your desk, but you realized you needed to pay it.
