Your May 2025 Horoscope for Capricorn
by Susan Miller
The full moon could also center on a financial matter. Your friend may want you to participate in an event (it could be her destination wedding for example), but the entire cost is turning you off because you are not willing (or able) to spend so much money on one day.
To make matters worse, this news seems to be coming out of the blue. With the Sun conjunct Uranus, money and socializing seem to be linked, but not in a good way—in a wild, haywire way. You may spend the money, but it won’t be easy.
Now let’s turn to the sweetest, happiest news I have for you. It is coming at the new moon in Gemini on May 26. This new moon is so glorious, I feel it will be the line we cross between the beginning of this year (which was heavy and frustrating) to what I consider to be the “official start” of 2025 (which will be sunny and bright).
The first almost five months of the year had a barrage of retrograde planets, and they were the very ones we feel the most strongly when retrograde—Venus, Mars, and Mercury. The slew of retrogrades started in late November, and they kept coming one after the other until the last one, Venus, went direct on April 12. Then we had to wait for each of them to become as strong as they were before they went retrograde.
Mercury came to full power on April 26.
Mars reached full robustness on May 2.
Venus will be back to full strength on May 16.
