Your May 2025 Horoscope for Capricorn

That little moon, along with her partner the Sun, unknowingly walked into the exact center of a roaring argument between Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius. Mars and Pluto are cutting across your horoscope from your two financial sectors, your second house of personal earned income and your eighth house of other people’s money (such as credit cards, loans, taxes, and so forth). This put a crimp in your plans.
Financial considerations most likely influenced what you did next. This was not the first time these two planets were carrying on a conflict. This particular argument between Pluto and Mars has been going on since November 3, 2024. They backed off a little but kept the tension in the air, and then they locked horns on January 3, again backing off a little, but not enough to calm the air. Mars and Pluto staged their last stand on April 26, the day before the usually sweet new moon in your fifth house of love, children, and creativity. That’s why you may have felt (and perhaps still feel) the weight of these two cranky planets raging in both of your financial sectors.
With the red planet Mars moving through your eighth house since April 17 to continue until June 17, there is no doubt that you’ve been spending more money than usual. It seems you have a goal. Mars rules your solar fourth house of home, property, and family, so it seems that your money has been directed toward your home, a new property, or a family member.
This month’s new moon in Gemini on May 26 is so glorious, sunny, and bright that I feel it to be the true start of 2025.
