Your Horoscope for Capricorn

This month is a little weird in that the full moon on August 19 in Aquarius, 27 degrees, won’t be a friendly one and, like the new moon, will highlight your money. (I know, I am talking about your finances a lot!) This time, it will focus on your second house, which covers use of personal earnings and savings, and I fear you will have an unexpected expense. It will temporarily knock you over when it shows up. You will hear about it sometime within five days of August 19.
Uranus, the lead planet at the full moon, is based in your fifth house but is very close to your sixth house, so this planet could affect either house. Here is what I see. Uranus in Taurus at 27 degrees will be in hard angle to the Sun in Leo, 27 degrees, in your eighth house of other people’s money. The full moon in Aquarius, 27 degrees, is in your second house of earned income. All these signs—Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius—are fixed signs that do not bend or compromise. Alas, this can create a deadlock. You are not a fixed sign but rather an cardinal, imaginable sign, so I feel you can find a remedy. I have a lot of faith that you will work this out.
What could this unexpected expense be? Your child’s tuition for school may have gone up, shocking you, or it may be that you haven’t been keeping track of spending, and your next credit card statement makes you almost apoplectic. It happens to all of us at some point, dear Capricorn. You are known to be really good at managing money, so this never seems to happen to you, but this could be one of those weird times when it does. The problem, though, seems directly related to that big assignment you have been working on all month. Will the client not pay you in a timely manner? It’s possible. You may want to get a partial deposit up front.
Venus will be in Virgo—a great sign for you—all month, until August 29. Your best day for love and romance if you are single will be August 27, when Venus plays tag with Uranus. It’s a fun day, and Cupid’s little cherubs will be out and about, armed with their little bows and arrows and ready to zing you with feelings of love.
