Your Horoscope for Capricorn
by Susan MillerAs an aside, Mercury will be retrograde this month from August 4 to August 28, but I don’t think Mercury will frustrate you as much as this clever little wild child has done in past months. You have such good aspects in early August that you may not be upset with the usual postponements and delays. These shifts will open up your schedule and allow you to focus on your own agenda and whatever you had to put aside due to lack of time or money. These obstacles won’t be a problem now.
You have two stellar days for finding money this month: Your first day will be Wednesday, August 7, when the Sun in Leo will send a gorgeous vibration to Jupiter in your eighth house of money. Pitch a client, ask about company benefits (but not a raise), or file for a mortgage or grant. A VIP will look kindly on you and be inclined to approve your application for funds.
The second date is very special. On Wednesday, August 14, Jupiter and Mars will make a historic conjunction in Gemini. Mars is the fuel that gets you going, and Jupiter is the planet that produces happiness and financial reward. Mars and Jupiter have not met in Gemini since March 1989, and they won’t meet again in this sign until June 2060, 36 years from now.
Think of Mars as high-octane fuel or pure energy. He is using that energy to light up Jupiter to get you the money you need to fund an idea. As they say, in August, strike while the iron is hot!
