Your April 2025 Horoscope for Capricorn
by Susan MillerDear Capricorn—this is a long forecast because so much is happening in your life. If you are in a hurry, go down to the Summary first and come back to read the main body so that you are completely filled in on not only April but the forecast for months ahead.
Something interesting is happening at your home, other property, or with your family, and I am so curious about how all this is all playing out for you. Last month, the new moon solar eclipse of March 29 appeared in Aries at 9 degrees and lit this area of you chart. This was a harmonious eclipse, but I can’t see your individual chart from here, so if you had something glitchy in your chart that this eclipse touched, it could have been a little stressful. (Having said that, however, I feel this eclipse would be a positive one.)
I have found in my study of eclipses over the year that it is best not to pronounce an eclipse favorable or unfavorable shortly after it occurs. I will tell you a little story that happened to me at the eclipse last year in Aries on April 8, 2024 (the one that was so visible in America).
I had a small flood in my apartment. It was only in my bedroom, but it did spill over into my friendly next-door neighbor’s apartment, a girl I really like. That sounds terrible, and I thought so too, but as things unfolded, I saw that this had a fortunate side. I had no choice but to call my insurance company instantly to make sure my sweet neighbor was well taken care of, as she wanted to redo her floors in her much smaller apartment. (It is always easier to take care of someone else than yourself.)
My contractor (who she recommended, and I as so glad to hire) came to see the damage and said that I would have to put in a new bedroom and living room floor. I agreed. As I discussed the job with him, we both realized that this meant I would have to put in a new floor in the entire apartment. The hardwood floor boards needed to match. I had never changed the floors before, having lived there such a long time, so it sounded like a good idea.
