Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
A current relationship is certainly capturing most of your attention these days. It seems to go up and down dramatically week by week, and if you think back through 2019, you likely will see that you’ve experienced a variety of emotions about your partner. Things were bad at this time last year but seem to be improving now. This person may be your spouse or someone you are dating seriously, or this person could be a business partner or committed collaborator. For many Cancers, their relationship with this important person in their lives has been a roller-coaster ride, but not for everyone of this sign, so let’s look closer.
Last month we had a new moon solar eclipse on December 25 that was sweet as sugar. What made it so thrilling was the conjunction of Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, and the Sun and new moon solar eclipse in Capricorn at four degrees. This could have been a joyous time for your closest relationship. You had Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, the Sun, and new moon eclipse in your seventh house of marriage and commitment. Some Cancers became engaged for the holidays, and married Cancers bonded closer to their partner.
Uranus, the planet of unanticipated events, was in an ideal angle to the Sun and new moon from your house of hopes and wishes, so if you did receive a proposal, it suggests you were quite surprised, but happy you did. If you are married, then your mate may have delighted you with a surprise that you found touching. Whether it was a lavish gift or a simple handwritten letter, it was the gesture that counted for you.
If you are dating seriously, you may feel that despite some bumpy periods, you feel better about the future of your relationship and might feel more positive about some of the complex areas that have concerned you. This feeling of optimism might last or be fleeting—there is no way to tell from where I sit, so protect your tender heart.
