Your May 2025 Horoscope for Cancer

The full moon on May 12 might not be about your romantic partner but rather one of your children (if you have any). You might have to make a decision about how to best help that child, and the cost of finding help might concern you. You will be relieved to hear that by the time of this full moon, Mars and Pluto will have moved far enough away from each other to stop their feud, and they will no longer cause problems. That is good news, for Scorpio (the place of the full moon) rules both Mars and Pluto!
Sometime in the week of May 12 you may devise a solution, possibly by sourcing outside funds or negotiating a payment plan. Mars and Pluto are not coming back to argue again, so you can take a deep breath—better days lie ahead.
If this full moon does not point to a romantic interest or to a child, it might mean that you are on the verge of completing a creative project. Yet just as you are finishing it, something unexpected may come up that has to be addressed or fixed before you can deliver it, and it seems to involve spending money of your own to protect the integrity of the project. Oh gee, I hope I am wrong about this. Sometimes this does happen in life, and the client won’t pay. The final decision is left to you.
There is other headline news before we get to the glorious news, and I would put what I have to tell you next in the “good news” category.
On May 24, Saturn will enter Aries for the first time since the period from 1996 to 1999. It’s been such a long time since any of us has experienced this trend that it will likely feel new. (I realize some readers were not yet born.) In Aries, Saturn will give you a chance to take on a big new responsibility and corresponding title in your career.
This visit from Saturn is a short one, and it’s meant to be simply a preview of what is to come in a much more sustained way in 2026. This year Saturn will remain in Aries from May 24 to September 1, and after September 1 he will retreat back to Pisces to tie up loose ends.
