Your May 2025 Horoscope for Cancer
by Susan Miller
Venus played the leading role at last month’s new moon on April 27 and was also conjunct Saturn, so you are taking everything that happens seriously, as is the right thing to do. This appears to be a situation that you can’t ignore, and you know that.
By a stroke of luck, Mars, Venus’s lover, who is currently in your second house of earned income, will be sending a golden beam to Venus as she sits in your tenth house of professional honors, awards, and achievement. Mars and Venus will work to raise your profile and your income at the same time. Clearly your career is doing well.
A new moon can affect you for up to five months, weakening in strength as it travels further from the date it first appeared. A new moon is strongest for the first 10 days but can affect you strongly for two weeks after it appears, so April’s new moon brought you into May. That new moon and Sun were in your eleventh house of joy, happiness, and fun, but with this financial situation, you seem to need to clear out any optional spending. For example, you’ve satisfied the financial obligations that came up, and as a result you might curtail expensive dining out with friends, push back the date of a planned vacation, or miss a friend’s destination wedding.
In last month’s forecast, I had mentioned in my “News from Susan Miller” that strong storms were due to blow through, and the new moon on April 27 was one of them. We have one more difficult moon to deal with—the full moon on May 12—and I will give you the details on that in a moment.
All the retrogrades of 2025 are finally behind you this month, ushering in a happier, more productive, and more joyous life.
