Your Horoscope for Cancer
by Susan MillerAs you see, this is a month that is quite topsy-turvy, forcing us all to stay on our toes to keep up with fast-moving events. As my mother used to say, “When in doubt, do nothing.” My Little Mom (she was tiny) had lots of advice, but she was always right. She also used to say, “Act in haste, repent in leisure.” Her proverbs seem to fit us all now in March.
SUMMARY
As the month opens, it appears that you are either on the road, traveling (possibly to a distant country), or on the phone or emailing with a foreign client. This is due to the outstandingly supportive new moon in Pisces of February 27, which will have a strong effect on you for months—but especially in the first half of March.
If you have to see a client or member of management face-to-face sometime in the coming months, use the opportunity you have in March to pack up and go. With Mars in Cancer no longer retrograde and gaining strength with each passing day (reaching full strength by the beginning of May), you have a major competitive advantage in negotiation. If you need to persuade a VIP to come around to your way of thinking, you will also have an advantage, so build your case. Mars will remain in Cancer until April 17, so be confident as you work though any sticking points.
However, if you are ready to sign papers, find out if you can delay the process. Mercury, who rules agreements of all kinds, will be retrograde from March 15 to April 7. You can shape an impending collaboration, but you would be wise to put off signing now. You or the other party may have second thoughts about a certain clause or paragraph in the contract and will want to discuss changes or clarifications. This is one of those times that a lawyer’s fee would be worth the cost to protect both parties in the course of working together. You will want to rush prior to Mercury’s retrograde, but you need to resist that urge.
