Mars is your ruling planet, so its activities in the horoscope matter more to you than most other signs—it is given extra weight and importance. Now through early November, home will be where your heart lies.
In the coming two months, you can make a lot of progress on domestic matters. Mars will go retrograde December 6 straight into February 23, a very long time, so it behooves you to energetically go after your goals now. As you get to late November, and closer to Mars retrograde, December 6, you will begin to feel like you are walking through glue—progress will be slow for months. Think of Mars as pure energy or fuel—it is the gas in the tank of your car, or the gas you turn on to cook your dinner on the stove.
Even after Mars goes direct on February 23, Mars will not regain his full strength until April 30. While you have an open road now, in September and October, set your agenda and build momentum.
I should add that in addition to Mars going retrograde December 6, little copycat Mercury will be in a race to go retrograde before his big brother Mars does. Mercury will win the race and be retrograde from November 25 to December 15, shooting a hole in the holiday shopping season (be smart and get your shopping done now and in October). To remind you, Mars will be retrograde December 6 to February 23, so Mars and Mercury will overlap. You see how important it will be to make progress NOW while you have enough cosmic support to make big gains.
