Your September 2024 Horoscope for Aries
by Susan MillerWe all get a dose of Saturn at some point in life. This teacher planet takes 29 years to rotate around the Sun, spending nearly three years in each sign. Pisces are feeling the most tutoring from Saturn these days, for Pisces first started to host Saturn in March 2023. Saturn will continue to tutor Pisces for another 17 months, until mid-February 2026 (with a short jaunt into Aries from late May 2025 to the beginning of September 2025). Saturn also teaches that the greatest joy in life comes through the acceptance of new responsibilities. I agree that Saturn’s methods of imparting life’s wisdom can feel severe at times. He is known to be the planet that teaches with “tough love.” I have described the nature of Saturn for a reason, and here it is.
With Saturn directly opposing the new moon and Sun on September 2 in Virgo, 11 degrees, you may feel the people you normally rely on to help you are missing in action. They may be on vacation, needed by family, or not feeling well. No matter the reason, you will need help in the absence of support, so open your contacts and see who you can call.
The moon rules your family sector (fourth house), and the Sun rules your love interest (fifth house), but not your spouse if you are married. The fifth house points to new love, such as with your sweetheart. The fifth house also rules your children and any creative project(s) you may be working on. One of these areas will light up for you. This new moon September 2 will fall in your sixth house, which is associated with daily projects and also health matters.
With Saturn pressing on you to live up to your obligations, you will be under stress. In September, especially in the first half, it will be vital that you continue to eat nutritiously and get enough sleep. The new moon and Sun will light your sixth house of proactive steps you take to maintain good health and strong immunity. If your doctor suggests you take vitamins or some type of medication, be sure to take it regularly. With all you must do, the last thing you need is to catch a cold—or worse.
