Your May 2025 Horoscope for Aries
by Susan MillerMars and Pluto will cut across social sectors (friendship/romance/creative assignments/and matters related to pregnancy and care for children), so you might feel the tension in one of these areas as a result of the Mars-Pluto feud. However, each planet is on the cusp of your career (Pluto) and home (Mars) sectors, so I think you may feel this more closely in career (where the hard driving VIP would be) and home (where a lot would be going on there, too). Technically, Mars and Pluto are not in your career and home sectors, but are still too close for comfort, straddling all the houses mentioned. You will know by past experience where the stress has been emanating from.
Is there any good news about all this? Yes. Mars and Pluto’s final conflict was on April 26 , and soon they will be too far apart to trouble you any longer. These planets move slowly (especially Pluto), so they will need to get far enough to be out of range of each other, and that separation will be accomplished by mid-May. Relief is on the way!
Let’s move now to May 12, the full moon in Scorpio, 22 degrees. This full moon will finish up what you are thinking about money. You will pay as many bills as you can, although there will likely be one that will come up that you did not expect. I say that because unpredictable Uranus will be conjunct the Sun in your second house of earned income, possessions, and savings. The Sun rules your fifth house, so the expense may relate to one of your children, a pregnancy, or a vacation you took recently (and didn’t realize the final bill would be so high). Alternatively, the expense might also have something to do with a creative project that requires more time and money. These are simply examples, but you might suspect what it might be.
Uranus will also oppose the full moon May 12, which might mean you’ll have to direct money toward a home-related expense, such as for a repair, renovation overage, new furniture or mattress, or something expensive, such as a down payment on a house or payment for a new car. I am so sorry to have to report this news—large, unexpected expenses are the worst.
Saturn, seeing what is going on, may feel this to be a “teachable moment” and give you an idea of how to avoid financial jams like this in the future. All the while, Saturn will be kind and friendly. You might set up an emergency savings fund or a line of credit with your bank, or find another source of income on the side, as some examples.
Among the friends that you’ll see at the new moon May 26, one might be quietly influential and give you an idea that could add gold coins to your treasure chest.
