Your May 2025 Horoscope for Aries
by Susan MillerYou certainly have been living in a vortex. All kinds of crosswinds have been blowing toward and around you, making you wonder which way to look first. It has been hard to make progress. You had to get used to two steps forward and one step back. You’ve had to be nimble, strategic, and deliberate about every decision you made.
Your hardest day recently may have come late last month when Mars (your ruler) got into a quarrel with powerhouse Pluto on April 26. This was not the first time these two planets have been at loggerheads—they started their feud in early November 2024 and came at each other again in early January. This is not normal at all and had to do with Mars’s long-time retrograde.
This makes me suspect there’s been a difficult person in your life who viewed any sort of compromise as weakness and preferred to say, “We will do things my way!” You knew this person’s insistence on doing things his way was not always in his own best interest, or in the interest of others around him who were trying to support his ventures, but when you’ve tried to reason with him, your efforts seemed pointless. This is a hard situation, and you may have felt a replay of this situation on April 26, the day prior to the new moon in Taurus.
This brings me to the topic of money, which was the message of the April 27 new moon in Taurus at 8 degrees. You seem frustrated with the amount of money you are making now and would like to ask for more. Hold your horses, however, for although a new moon in your solar second house (which you experienced on April 27) would normally be the ideal time to ask for a raise or negotiate a salary for a new job, Mars and Pluto were in a fierce argument, making this NOT the time to ask for a better salary. All new moons like the one April 27 have a long tail and will extend for weeks. You need to wait for better days, and I will advise you later in this report on when that might be.
As I outlined in my last month’s forecast for you, the innocent, tender new moon, on the arm of her partner the Sun, unknowingly walked into the precise center of this raging argument. Once that happened, Pluto in Aquarius not only attacked Mars but also the Sun and new moon in Taurus. At the same time, Mars in Leo was attacking Pluto along with the Sun and new moon in Taurus. This caused a lot of tension, and making it a tad worse, all of these signs (Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius) are fixed signs, which meant that no one wanted to give an inch from their stated positions.
