If you want a baby, this would be the month to get serious about that dream. If you hope to have a baby but have had problems, see a fertility expert in late May or early in June. If you already have children, plan an action for the days that follow this new moon and surprise them. You will have bushels of fun.
A new moon will influence you for a little over five months but is especially strong for the first 10 days after it arrives (until June 5 for this May 26 new moon).
Pluto contacting Mercury suggests that after the new moon you could hear about a sum that was owed to you and is finally coming your way. It could be a tax refund or a sum you were awarded in a court case. If you applied for a bank loan or sent in a claim to an insurance money, you may soon get a check. If you were interviewing for a job and you were told you won it, there’s a good chance you would now be negotiating salary and company benefits.
Venus and Mars will make a romantic connection four days earlier on May 22 (a highly romantic day for you). The good news is they will still be close at this new moon, May 26. The job of Venus and Mars, when they are together in a gorgeous trine aspect like this one (which is rare) is to set off the sparks of love. Venus is in fire-sign Aries and Mars is in fire sign Leo—signs that blend beautifully with air-sign Aquarius. Plan to be out and about a lot before Jupiter leaves your love sector (fifth house) on June 9. You have so many planets working for you!
The entire energy of the year will shift from dull, heavy, and laborious to light, sunny, and bright. You will notice a new mood is in the air, and many people you see on the street will seem to smile.
