Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
Now for my last announcement: Mercury will be retrograde from May 29 to June 22, so while you are planning your schedule, get your deals signed, sealed, and delivered in the first two weeks of May when you will be the most productive. Avoid doing anything to your appearance with Mercury retrograde, as everyone’s judgement will be a bit off.
Mercury rules all electronics and machines, so if you need a new computer, smart phone, automobile, or kitchen appliance, for example, buy it in early May—or wait until July for best results.
In May, you can focus on your private life, specifically on your family and home. It appears you might want to make changes to your present space but may have become sidetracked. Now the new moon in Taurus on May 11 will help you clear other concerns of life in weeks ahead so that you can finally focus on your décor and family-related plans. Taurus is associated with trees, flowers, plants, and shrubs, so if you live in a house in a country or suburban setting, you might also want to hire a landscape designer to beautify your property for all seasons. If you live in the city, bring in some blooms to brighten your bedroom or living room.
At the same time as the new moon, Mars will reach out to Uranus and allow you a surprise home-related breakthrough. If you’ve been looking for the perfect rental, for example, or a new desk that would “make” your living room, this new moon might well present it to you. You would have to do your part by looking, but if you do, your timing will be superb in the days and weeks that follow May 11. Get started immediately.
