A Note from Susan Miller
Often when we start a new year, the outer planets stay in their same positions, so the look and feel of the coming year stays fairly the same. That does not happen in 2021! Jupiter and Saturn decided to both enter Aquarius two days apart last month, to make lengthy stays. Gradually, other planets will migrate away from Capricorn and into Aquarius—something you will see in February—and offer a lighter, breezier influence than what we have been used to.
The eclipses have moved away from Capricorn and Cancer too, into more mutable, flexible, and adaptable Gemini and Sagittarius. We will have three eclipse in those signs in 2021, and the start of in a new series, Taurus and Scorpio, when one arrives in Taurus this year. In 2020, we had a remarkable six eclipses (actually seven, if you count the December 25, 2019, eclipse that appeared one week before 2020), which means that the universe was asking us to make many sudden adjustments.
Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
Your life is about to go through a wonderful refresh, for many planets will be playing musical chairs, changing from heavy earth-oriented placements to ones in light-as-air, which are much better for you. After all, you are an air sign, dear Aquarius, so suddenly, it will be your views and suggestions that seem especially right for the times we all live in.
Soon after you settle into 2021, you will notice life will begin to look and feel different and better. The planets don’t really know or care about how we keep track of days, months, and years on calendars, so they don’t act on cue the moment we enter a new year. However, a big change is happening now. You will start to see changes, and life on this planet will become friendlier and more encouraging. You are not very used to that!
Things will get even better for you in February. By then you will have six out of ten heavenly bodies in Aquarius—the new moon (February 11), the Sun, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn. They will band together in Aquarius to give you major clout.
Mercury will go retrograde in Aquarius from January 30 to February 20, but that won’t stop your luck from rolling. You are holding a hand of all aces. Mercury’s impending retrograde in February means that if there is something you started months—or even years—ago but had to put aside due to lack of time or funding, go back to that project in earnest. There is a great possibility for a major breakthrough. Similarly, if you’ve held on to dream for a long time but dropped the idea as too complicated, go back to that project now. This world runs completely on new ideas. Make appointments with successful, high-level people that you have worked with in the past, for with Mercury retrograde, those are the people who will help you the most.
