Natal Birth Chart

I am happy to announce that we can now provide you with a way to  obtain your free natal horoscope chart online here on AstrologyZone.com. You can use it as many times as you like—you will not be charged.

There are many layers and dimensions to astrology that are not apparent immediately to the casual observer, and you will likely understand this much better when you print out your astrological chart. By reading your chart, you will learn a great deal about yourself, your upbringing, and your talents, and you will even get ideas about your life potential. You may possibly draw up new future goals too, ones that you may never have considered before you read your chart.

If you do not know your time of birth you can go to https://www.usa.gov/birth-certificate to get a copy of your birth certificate.

ABOUT YOUR BIRTH CHART:

Why You Should Have Your Astrological Chart

We hope you will enjoy your free horoscope chart and refer to  it from time to time. You may recall that I often refer to certain birthdays and degrees of rising signs, natal moons, and natal planets in my monthly forecasts for you. Now you will be able to check to see if you will feel the influence of the new moon, full moon, or other aspects of the various planets as they touch your natal placements. You can easily do this because I have provided a box for you summing up the sign and degree of your planets at the time of your birth.

I hope I start a lifelong interest in astrology in you—you can always dig deeper by buying astrology books and looking up the placement of your planets.

What Information Do I Need to Obtain My Astrological Chart?

The chart on the next screen will be calculated using the day, month, year, and city of your birth, as well as the exact time of your birth. If you don’t know your time of birth to the exact minute, it is worth making an effort to find out by looking at an original copy of your birth certificate. If you don’t have it, go to the Hall of Records or Bureau of Vital Statistics in the location you were born. (The hospitals do not keep the records—this is the function of municipalities.)

Here in the US have found the cost to get your birth certificate should be $10 to $30 dollars (each state charges different rates)—the Department of Motor Vehicles charges $5 for a computer copy of your birth certificate, but that version drops off details, including the time of your birth. Do not get that one.

If you cannot find out your exact time of birth, we can work with an approximation. For example, if your mother is sure you were born between 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM, enter the time of 1:30 AM on the order form.

What Exactly Does My Chart Tell Me?

If you cannot get even an approximation of your time of birth, we will use Sunrise to cast your chart, a standard practice for most astrologers (it’s my favorite alternate method), but you won’t know your rising sign. (However, if you WERE born at (or near) Sunrise, you will have the same rising sign as your Sun sign.) By casting your chart, you will know where your planets were on the day you were born. (The moon is the fastest moving body, so if your moon sign sounds wrong with the Sunrise chart, move it to the next sign.) The report you receive will be yours for life—your natal chart will never change. On the next screen, you may choose between the Placidus-tropical system (the system I use and our default system) or the whole house system—your choice.

Once you print out a copy of your natal chart, you will automatically discover your rising sign (also called your ascendant), which in astrology is a critical piece of information. Once you know it, you should read for that sign along with your Sun sign (also known as your birthday sign) for the rest of your life. That is the best way to get a complete report.

Your rising sign and your Sun sign are equal in importance. In certain parts of my monthly reports, you may recall I regularly mention the degree of the new moon and full moon. This can help you better understand if an aspect will affect you directly. Having this chart will give you a new dimension and insight into your horoscope and the course of your life.

Information We Ask for and Why

We will ask you once to enter your name, city, and state (or country) where you live, and email address to stay in touch with me. We also ask for your phone number, in case we ever have to get in touch with you—we don’t expect to need it, but it can come in handy if you write to us with a certain matter. I have made sure by speaking with my engineers that you can’t enter your information twice by mistake. I send out very few emails—I don’t like companies that send me so many emails they overwhelm my inbox! If you have been reading my column a long time, you know I send out very few.

We take your privacy seriously and do not sell, lend, or give your name to any company or individual. After you enter your email address you will get a confirmation email from us. We ask that you please send back a confirmation email so we know it was you (not a bot) that entered your information. If you change your mind, you can unsubscribe at any time.

The short interpretations of your chart were written by me, and the chart calculations are powered by Astro-Seek.

Is Everyone Born Under the Same Sign Really Different?

Your astrological birth chart is unique. There will never be another person with precisely the same astrological horoscope chart as you. For that reason, you must sing the song in your heart, all that you feel compelled to do, for only you know what that might be. Even twins and triplets have charts unique to each child. Your chart will never be replicated in time, space, or geography. Never in history has anyone had your natal chart, and no one will in the future. There is only one you in the vast universe.

With eight planets plus the Sun and moon all moving at vastly different speeds, there is no way for anyone to have your chart.
